Good location. Room was a good size and clean. Reduced car parking in the multi storey which doesn't look the best but left our car there for 2 nights and had no issues. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

This hotel is in the perfect location for central Portsmouth. We experienced friendly helpful staff a great breakfast - with good coffee and a sound nights sleep. We didn’t drive so can’t comment on parking. Only complaint is the small towels. We’d go back.

I have never felt so seen, heard and cared for in a hotel before. All the staff working in this hotel deserve a raise. Not only were the rooms clean, the bed was comfortable, the food was delicious and the staff were so so pleasant. Thank you so much. Honestly you won't be disappointed staying here.

Ideally located for the station and just a 2 minute walk from the Guildhall. The rooms are a bit tired but perfectly fine when you just need a clean en-suite room for the night. Staff are welcoming and helpful

Very hot rooms with mold forming on the walls. With no AC and no option to open the windows or any vents. It made sleeping very difficult and uncomfortable. The carpets were stained and bathroom not well cleaned.

Fantastic service on arrival, including assisting with adding a further night to our stay and providing soya milk for our use in room. Very friendly staff and great clean room. Location next to train station and great for all local amenities, short walks to town centre, Southsea and gun wharf.

Stayed here for 2 nights 13-15 March. Room was large, clean and comfortable but very hot and stuffy. Had breakfast both mornings which was nice and plentiful no complaints. Staff were very friendly and helpful . The hotel is in an excellent location with the Guildhall, shopping centre and Gun Wharf quays close by. The hotel is right next to the station but there was no issue with noise. Overall a good stay and would definitely recommend.

Our premier plus room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Location was excellent as we were seeing a show in the Guildhall, also only a 20 minute stroll to the seafront. Breakfast good value for money. Car park only a 2 minute walk from hotel.

Away for a two night business trip. I couldn't fault the hotel but since my work wasn't in the centre, parking and traffic wasn't ideal. The morning after my first nights stay I spoke to reception and stated I might not be back depending on the events of that day but I'd paid for the room and didn't want checked out in case I needed to return. My mistake I should have left with the room card and not said anything, because when I got back that evening they had checked me out with no rooms available. Ok mistakes happen, but the attitude of staff was tough. No consideration for a tired traveller without a place to stay. I find it hard to believe the hotel would not have a spare room in case of any issues or that staff would not help into anyway to find somewhere else to stay given the proximity of other premier inns. Raising the concerns to the complaints department is a waste of time, they say not to contact them again as it can take a month to reply. They then reply just before the month has passed to ask you some booking details that they already have from the booking reference. Stall and hope the customer has forgotten their bad experience.

The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I asked to be moved to another room but was told no other rooms available. Member of staff was kind and understanding and acknowledged this smell, and she offered to spray over it. However only after 30min the smell resurfaced. This made it hard to get a good night's rest. Nevermind the constant fighting that took place next door around midnight to am.
