I've stayed in a few Travelodges and this one has to be the nicest so far. Marie on reception was so friendly and helpful, as was the man doing the overnight shift although unfortunately I didn't get his name. The room was clean and spacious. It was quiet despite being near a busy road. Everything worked in the room and the shower was nice and hot. The pub restaurant next door had some good vegan options too.

Good location on the edge of a pleasant village and a Harvester pub very nearby. Plenty of parking and although near a busy road, the traffic did reduce at night and once in the room it was sufficiently quiet to enjoy a good night's sleep.

Amazing team at this travelodge , had a confusion regarding the booking and date it was booked for , and they were amazing and helped with moving the booking foward to allow me to stay the nights I needed to. Don't think I would have been able to and probably would have had to pay double if it wasn't for the lovely and friendly team!

A good location, and very quiet. Room was cosy and warm. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. If visiting the area again I would definitely stay at this hotel. I can't remember if there was air conditioning but I would check this if staying in the summer. Very convenient Harvester restaurant next door.

The main reasons for regular trips to the Travel Lodge, Rowlands Castle are that: 1. it is conveniently situated 2. the staff are very good, particularly Sue, the Manager. 3. We know we will get a clean and comfortable room for our stay.

Cosy and comfortable 21-bed hotel. Formerly an Innkeeper's Lodge so some furnishings and fittings are dated but rooms are functional and clean. Carpets have been recently renewed though so rooms look tidier. Hotel is located behind The Staunton Arms Harvester restaurant so make sure you're looking for that as a marker! Only downside was that walls between rooms are very thin and a group of four young lads checked in at 12:30am next door, with talking going on until 2am, making for a restless night. Parking is free for hotel guests despite the car park being operated by Euro Car Parks - make sure you enter your vehicle registration in the tablet at reception to gain free parking during your stay.

Simple room with friendly staff. Convenient car park. Visiting relatives nearby as well as the local park run which all went well. I left my shaver in the room and was phoned up about this so was able to pop back and get it before I left the area.

We have stayed here regularly to visit local family members. The Lodge is consistently clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff are always really helpful, efficient and friendly, and we highly recommend this Travelodge. It's bright, warm and quiet, yet really handy for Chichester, Portsmouth, and the surrounding countryside. Marie was on duty over Christmas and couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, along with her other staff colleagues.
