Our second visit to this lovely hotel and it did not disappoint. Wonderful attentive and knowledgeable staff. Fabulous food and wine. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Beautiful location. Peaceful and relaxing. What more could you want?! Highly recommended if you want to treat yourself.

Lovely gardens, friendly staff, nice hotel but definitely not worth the extortionate price. Our first disappointment was the absence of tea and coffee facilities in our room. They are available from reception apparently but we did not notice that until our final day. We have stayed in a range of British hotels from B&Bs to luxury hotels and all have had...

I can honestly say that I can find no negatives with the hotel, as put eloquently by our friends, 'Comfortably luxury'. We had a garden room with access to outside because of the dog. The room was beautiful with the sitting area down a few stairs and the bed comfortable. The food was a work of art and each dish...

I reviewed this hotel at the time as it was absolutely superb. If you are looking for somewhere really special then this is it. Set in the Cotswolds and with a Michelin star restaurant. Staff who pamper you this is something else. The is an old building sympathetically converted into an hotel. It is not cheap but in terms of...

From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed drinking tea in the beautiful gardens. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable...only criticism is no coffee or tea in the room although there was bottled water. The evening meal was a real dining experience..we had the taster menu. The presentation, flavours were a wonderful experience Overall a...

Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds, with a field full of sheep and lambs at the bottom of the garden. Hotel staff very polite and attentive, coming out to your car to greet you and take your bags upon arrival, lovely touch. Our room was beautiful. Lovely comfortable bed with wonderful linen. As was the towels and gowns supplied in...

From the moment we met the friendly & knowledgable staff at the hotel, we were made to feel part of their family. What can we say? Idyllic surroundings, attentive staff where nothing was too much trouble for them and who often went above & beyond to ensure our friends and family were looked after impeccably. Food & wine are amazing,...

It was a very intimate wedding for 50 people and the marriage service was just lovely. We had canapes and champagne in the garden and the most delicious lunch, presented beautifully by excellent staff. The wedding cake was stunning and made locally by All Amy Cakes. I wish there could be an action replay!

We were looking for somewhere to stay over and something to pass the evening. This is a great evening's entertainment. Fabulous tasting meal with a hand picked selection of wines. It is an experience as well as delicious food. The staff are wonderful from the pre-arrival call to the welcome, the dinner and through to the next morning. Nothing seemed...

Dear Anthony C, Its lovely to hear that you enjoyed your evening and staying with us. The new Head Chef, Charles Smith certainly does produce menus to delight and our Sommelier Daniel and Restaurant Manager Jacek give a lot of though to pairing wines to match Chefs dishes. Its god to hear nothing was too much trouble as that is...

Just returned from an overnight stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What a wonderful time we had. The hotel kindly upgraded our room for us which was a wonderful surprise. We treated ourselves to afternoon tea after arriving, which was very nice. The village of Upper Slaughter is so pretty, we took a walk around it after our afternoon tea,...
