Detailed Reviews
The Barns at Woodchester Winery are beautifully appointed, meticulously constructed and very comfortable. We initially thought the prices were rather high, however, we would now state that the accommodation is very good value for money, well positioned with views over the Stroud valley and two sitting out areas. The accommodation is only 50 metres from the wine tasting which was also a very enjoyable experience. We have stayed in other UK wineries and have tasted wine across the world including in Napa Valley and New Zealand. We rate the Woodchester experience as outstanding.

I was treated to a wine tasting here to celebrate my 10 year anniversary. The vineyard is in beautiful setting, the atmosphere is professional but relaxed, there's a log burner so would be cosy in winter. Leon and Clare made us very welcome. He was very informative about the wine making process and suggested food pairings which was helpful. The wine was delicious and we had sharing hampers for lunch which were fantastic. There is accommodation available on site and different tasting packages so that's my Christmas presents sorted!

We stayed in the Doverow Barn for the weekend and had a tour of the vineyard and wine tasting experience. Absolutely amazing! The barn is stunning, beautifully appointed and extremely spacious. A peaceful setting with far reaching views. It has a kitchenette as stated on their website, so we were well aware of this and had dinner in Nailsworth on one evening and a takeaway delivered on the second evening. I hope we get the opportunity to return as we didn't want to leave. Wishing Woodchester Valley Vineyard continued success for the future, thank you!

Wow what a place! We had the most magical weekend away with our friends to celebrate our 30th birthdays and honestly, were so sad to have to leave! The house is absolutely stunning and so well appointed. Every detail has been carefully considered and literally anything you could want or need in the house is there. The decor is gorgeous as is the setting. We will come back in a heartbeat!
Communication pre-stay was excellent and thorough too from Gail & Elizabeth.

Stayed in one of the one bed barns. Absolutely beautiful, could not fault the accommodation, location or staff. One of the best places we have stayed. Everything is done to a very high standard. Decor very tasteful with great attention to detail. Spacious and luxurious.
