Stopped here today for lunch. Excellent value for money. We both ate of the cheap eats menu think they were £6.50 each, lots of choices, food well presented. Friendly staff, lovely fire, could have stayed the whole afternoon. Well worth visiting.

To be honest, my son dragged me along but the food turned out to be really very good. Two of us had the Clothiers Burger - fresh, juicy, very tasty, (beef and chicken!) and one of us had the seafood pasta (forgot the exact name) which was also very good. Only disappointment was the very overpriced plate of fries.

We were returning from a walk in the hills and realised we had never tried here so it was an easy lunch stop on the way home. Excellent lunch menu at really good prices so we were thrilled when the food turned out to be top class too. Textures and flavours exactly as they should be. Can't praise this enough....

We were too early for an evening meal but decided that we would rather sit in the bar on a comfy sofa for awhile with a beer than try anywhere else. The beer was excellent and the mid-week special of fish and chips were worth the wait. The bar has a good selection of gins as well as the real...

The large car park was full when I arrived, so double parked after a long journey, but space then became available. The room was fine and dog friendly, but above the bar, which I knew. Music on Friday night ended at 12.45am and live music on Saturday at midnight, which I was not told about on booking and the room...

If you can get in the restaurant part go, the pub is still that really, an old school bar with music n tv's, you can eat in the bar area too. Car park quite small, fills quickly when busy. Restaurant part really nice but you need to book. Food was great, my daughter had a 'special of the day' which...

Visit family and seem to always go here. Always packed out and food very good. Good balance of staple foods. Always a big plate of food. Dare not have the mixed grill because I would probably explode. Good service and reasonably priced. Always come back. Beer good.

We stayed here for 1 night recently, whilst visiting a relative in the area. We stayed in the room called Ebley. We chose this room because it is one that is not above the bar but don't let that description fool you into thinking it will be quiet, because it is not. You can still hear the noise from the...
