This is a lovely, old restaurant in a charming town. The food was good but the service was quite slow. Although our guide ordered ahead, it seems there must have been a mix up as we waited over 45 minutes to be served. The scenery more than made up for the time lost.

Lovely atmosphere, great burger. Worth a visit. We'd planned to stay here but ended up going for a cheaper b n b, so we came here for dinner so we got to experience it and we were so happy we visited. Really good service too.

The food was hit and miss both with quality and description. The chocolate mousse was actually a hot pudding with a molten inside. While it looked nice was not what I wanted. It was more of a fondant. The service was okay. Everyone was polite but I don't think I saw anyone actually smile. Definitely not worth the price.

Very nice location, reasonable parking. Good menu and wine choice with interesting specials. Atmospheric dining room with attentive staff. 8/10 homemade burger, great chips, reasonable sole, good duck. Very pleasant host.

Just happened to stop for lunch at the Porch House pub and decided to get the last room available. It turned out to be the smallest room in the house and perfect for us. Tiny but oh so cute and we felt like we were in Hobbit heaven. Great view, great location, great price and very comfortable.

We booked the private dining room for a birthday lunch. It was fabulous. The food and service was second to none. Georgia helped so much with the menu choices and I was thrilled that it was Georgia overseeing the lunch. Having the sitting room was such a bonus, making the whole afternoon incredibly special, for a BIG birthday. I would...

We spent a day in the lovely town of Stow-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds. We found this lovely old B&B right in town. The rooms are half-timber, and the place has quite a history. A nice combination of old charm and modern amenities. Our room was right on the street and traffic noise began in the early morning.

We recently had a family get together with 8 adults and 4 young kids ranging from 1 to 7. After going in to enquiry they offered us their private room. We had a private dining room, a little sitting room and toilets all to ourselves. The food and service were wonderful and being able to let the kids run around...

We loved everything about our stay here. The rooms were steeped in history with 100 year old timbers, quirky angles, comfy beds and clean sparkling bathrooms. The breakfasts were glorious, too. Highly, highly recommended!!

Had an excellent Sunday lunch in the restaurant - lovely atmosphere and excellent service. I thinking booking is essential as people were being turned away (told to see if there was a table in the bar). We've booked again for dinner later this week.
