stayed with friends for Kevin Wilson Gig at the town hall Got there at 1300 and got space in the very small car park, was allowed to check in early which allowed us to drop bags off :-) stayed in twin room , decent size, large bathroom and a bonus of a 50" LCD TV. Only disappointment with room was... More

I stayed at this hotel before with no problems. I just recently contacted them because I am a pensioner and disabled and could not go. I said I could get Doctor's proof of my illness. Even though I gave them over 24 hours notice, they would not refund my money. In this day and age I thought this was terrible... More

Pleasant 2 night stay here on a Friday and Saturday in November. Pros - Clean, quiet, warm, ensuite room with reasonably comfortable bed, large TV, tea/coffee, hairdryer, safe, mirror and wi-fi. Separate ironing room available. Friendly, helpful staff; reasonable breakfast in small dining area. Cons - Limited, non-reservable, underground gated parking at extra cost (18 extremely tight parking spaces for... More

Perfectly located for shops and Theatres, but no traffic noise. Room fine for short stay, bathroom very good. Breakfast better than expected and staff all friendly and helpful. Pity about the car park - fine for minis, no good for 4x4s!

We wanted a comfortable inexpensive hotel for one night in the centre of Cheltenham. Got exactly that at The Big Sleep. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Parking is first come first served but we didn't have a problem finding a space. Would recommend for a no frills inexpensive stop over.

The hotel is on a quiet side street, within a 10 minute walk of Cheltenham town centre. In terms of quality and price, it's somewhere between Travelodge and Premier Inn, so I knew what to expect. The room and hotel seemed clean and tidy enough, although there were some dodgy-looking stains on the bedding (Ribena? I hope so! See pic). The... More

Stayed here with my family so booked 3 rooms for the weekend. The first thing that hits you is the musty smell which we think is not helped by the awful furry curtains! They are just like giant rugs. All the bathrooms had very poor showers although there was plenty of hot water it just dribbled out. Our beds all... More

Stayed here with friends on a 2 night stay on a trip to Cheltenham races. On the plus side, the location is centrally located, the staff are helpful and the hotel and rooms are very clean.
