We stayed for a weekend in February. Butlers is a beautifully appointed building. The rooms have a regal feel with high ceilings and windows. The attention to detail is impressive, the bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets of very high quality, little things but important. Breakfast was freshly cooked, of the highest quality and served in a relaxed environment....

Stayed at Butlers over last weekend for the races at Cheltenham. It is very situated in the town , a 5 minute walk takes you into the centre. The house is absolutely spotless and very quirky with the butler theme running throughout the house. Very large twin room including a double bed. There is a good selection for Breakfast ,...

The location was really close to Montpelier, hence we parked the car in the hotel car park and didnt use it until we returned home. The room was excellent, the breakfast really good and the hospitality second to none. I would have no reservations in recommending this hotel to friends and family

Stayed for one night on business. The room was really nice and very spacious with a king size and a single bed. The decor was very tasteful and the room was well equipped. The hosts were very friendly with a great sense of humour. This hotel is a real find, so much nicer than staying in a chain hotel, with...

I stayed for one night in September as I was in Cheltenham for work. Straight away I was made to feel welcome and got immediate sympathy for being abandoned by my colleague on the day (she was unwell, but still). I was also given lots of tips of where to go but in the end settled for Waitrose, which is...

We stayed overnight on the first night of trading for the new owners. Beautifully decorated, clean rooms with some lovely touches. Paul was very welcoming, relaxed and friendly. About a 20 minute walk from the centre of town and close to Montpellior district. Off road parking was available for around 4 cars but there was still spaces on the road....

In my opinion this is really a boutique bed and breakfast, but it is excellent. There is no night time restaurant or bar, but here is a very comfortable lounge. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom was well fitted out and very comfortable. The rate included a full English breakfast which was cooked fresh, and very tasty. Other equally tasty dishes...

Sometimes you worry a change of ownership might mean a change in service or quality.....well there is definitely no compromise on service or quality here. Paul was a lovely host and Shaun cooks a fantastic fresh breakfast. Beautiful decor throughout, very clean, would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
