Very clean pub with rooms at a good price. Opposite the railway station. Decent full english breakfast for a fiver extra. Found the staff to be friendly and helpful. No en-suite in our room but shared facilities across the corridor. No problem at the price paid!

I stayed here for 3 nights and will definitely be staying again. Lyn and her staff were so friendly and helpful and my room was lovely. The breakfast is well worth the small charge of only £5 and will set you up perfectly for the day ahead. A great find!

I had an early start from Cheltenham Spa station and needed somewhere handy to stay for the previous night. Although I arrived late thanks to problems en route, I was warmly welcomed and shown to my first floor room on the front elevation. The room was a little cold (which is actually my preference) but there was a central heating...

Clean, recently refurbished, lovely staff, cheap, good breakfasts, 20 minutes walk from the town center. This is a pub firstly with rooms above. Great for a pre-dinner drink although they had run out of red wine (!!). Our room was very quiet with no road or train noise but our kids had noisy and inconsiderate neighbors banging doors, chatting loudly...

We received a lovely warm welcome to The Midland despite the renovation work. The staff were so friendly and for such a low price (£45 for a Thursday night) we were very impressed. We were even offered an alternative room as I'd accidentally to book a twin instead of a double. Everywhere was beautifully clean and there's a separate entrance...

my friend and I stayed for a night out in Cheltenham, the staff were very welcome and gave useful information for accessing town and how to get in later in the later hours. There was no pressure to leave early in the morning and breakfast was cooked to order and relaxing. We left feeling refreshed and wanting to go back...

Friendly clean, comfortable, quiet and a nice choice for Breakfast at a fiver each. Beds were twins but move together to make a double and we had no problems accessing the shared bathroom despite other people staying there. Bar renevations going on but didn't affect stay. No faults.

We paid a very reasonable price with a great location next to the train station. We are vegan and our breakfast was brilliant. Can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff who gave tips about where to visit.(Also had no issues with LGBT couples which is nice) Would stay again!
