I've been here a few times and the service is excellent. The property is amazing and the views are incredible. Normally the food is good, but having recently bene diagnosed with Gluten, Dairy and Soy intolerance I found the restaurant to be un prepared. My starter was a few slices of tomato. No flavour. The main course was fish, which...

The hotel itself is a beautiul honey coloured stone house. Many of the rooms are built in the grounds. We had a Cottage Room with its own small front garden. The room was not large and the furniture and decor of a classic style. The bathroom unusually was upstairs and was a bit dated. A large dog crate was left...

My husband booked an overnight stay and a spa treatment for my "special" birthday, had a wonderful time. Excellent service from all the staff, beautiful setting. Food excellent in cosy surroundings. Has direct access to Cheltenham racecourse which can be seen from hotel. Beautiful views and a gorgeous hotels with open fires. Excellent room. Pricey but worth every penny.

We had a family celebration here. The organisation was perfect and the food (a mixture of sandwiches and cakes) was excellent. The staff were super, friendly and efficient. A walk round the grounds revealed a swimming pool which is part of what I was told was a very good spa and gymnasium. I must try to stay here at some...

I booked this for my mother in law's 80th birthday. I mentioned the occasion when I booked and was delighted that they took the time and effort to remember this when they brought out the tier of cakes and sandwiches with a lit candle in one of the cakes. The cook had also piped " happy birthday " in choc...

My wife & I had an anniversary dinner at Ellenborough Park in May & it could not have been made more special by the staff, the surroundings & the peaceful atmosphere. The entrance sets it up & on the long drive in through the mature grounds sets up the evening. I always worry that when there is such a fabulous...

Apologies for the length of this review, but I hope it is constructive and fair, and that other travellers will not be put off from visiting this beautiful & welcoming establishment, because the positives most definitely outweigh the negatives. We recently spent three nights here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It is a large, (60+ rooms), lovely peaceful hotel with...

From the moment we arrived until our departure we were made to feel very special. All the staff are polite, helpful and very engaging. Our room was delightful and the extra touches such as fresh milk, newspapers and endless supplies of complimentary water are very welcome. The spa facilities are wonderful and who needs an indoor pool when the outdoor...

Just back from a lovely 4 day, 3 night stay in this amazing hotel. We had Room 11 which was huge, very beautiful, and catered for everything we might have needed. Mum managed the stairs to the room and the staff had reserved a room as per my request in the Main House so Mum did not need to walk...

My husband and I had a lovely stay this April at Ellenborough park. Beds are extremely comfortable, staff are pleasant, and there are plenty of places to relax and unwind. We visited the spa but unfortunately there was a problem with the jacuzzi so we made use of the heated outside pool. The juice bar was also closed. We are...
