I was planning to attend a concert at the Cheltenham Town Hall, and chose this hotel initially because of its proximity to the venue. I really had no idea how deluxe a property it was! I had a pre-paid reservation, so check-in was a breeze. When I entered the stairwell, I stared at the beautiful wall coverings. When I got...

A recent "Saturday to Tuesday break away from home". After a hiccup on having to wait for check-in (despite arriving at the time indicated by the hotel) which was professionally taken care of by Nicki, we made it to the room. A very decent upgraded room, well appointed with a coffee/tea maker, small fridge, very comfortable bed and luxurious pillows...

We stayed for 2 nights whilst going to the races with friends. The hotel decor is very elegant but not old fashioned. It's a beautiful building with a grand stair case, quaint bar and restaurant. ROOMS: The rooms vary. We had a small room, but it was very clean and the bathroom was modern with a great new shower. The...

Had an excellent stay at this hotel, which seems to have moved on in leaps ad bounds from our first stay in November when I think they were still transitioning from Mercure to MGallery brand. This is a beautiful hotel, good food, friendly staff. We were there for a Murder Mystery event which was excellent. When booking don't...
