Lovely, tastefully decorated hotel. The staff could not be friendlier! It was our anniversary and a lovely treat and card were left in our room on arrival. Lovely surprise! Great location, central for shops/bars/restaurants. Great selection of Gins served in the bar, lovely breakfast with fantastic selection. Overall a great hotel in a brilliant location would definitely recommend!

Although this hotel has a lift several of the bedrooms are only accessible via stairs. Moreover some of the bathrooms have a step in them which not visibly or otherwise marked and where the carpet on both sides of the step is the same colour i.e. the step is difficult to see.. My friend broke her foot on this during...

An old beauty right in the centre of town, the best location ever. Cheltenham born and bred, The Queens has been both the most wonderful and most dreadful hotel in her time. I stayed for one night mid-week after her M rebrand and it was delightful. Nicely decorated rooms, contemporary while retaining the old charm. Highly recommended but avoid racing...

We stayed overnight to celebrate my wife's birthday. We casually mentioned the fact that she had worked there as a waitress many years before and without letting on until the last minute they surprised us by upgrading us to a suite. The chef decorated a plate with petit four and they gave her a lovely print of the hotel, signed...

Stayed for 4 nights and all around it was a good stay. Nice rooms - reasonably spacious, modern bathrooms and comfortable bed. Location was quite central, close to main shopping areas and plenty of good restaurant options in easy walking distance. Staff was very friendly on all matters, eg. directions, taxi bookings, etc. And the breakfast buffet was very good,...

Once it was ready...

WE had a lovely welcome, the room was not quite ready at 2.30 in the afternoon, so we were given drinks vouchers, a short time later we were subsequently informed that the room was now ready, the bell boy was very friendly, taking our cases to the room. The room was a base level room (204) the room did have...

Lovely venue, great food and free parking! A birthday treat from a friend which we really enjoyed - very quiet on a Monday early afternoon, which suited us. Different choices of tea to drink and different afternoon tea menus - something for everyone.
