The service here was painfully slow - both for us and the table next to us who had waited for 90 minutes for lunch. We waited the best part of an hour for 6 paninis. We won’t be returning any time soon.
Restaurant was quiet when we arrived and rather country modern inside with open fires.
Menu is varied and good pub food, we both chose the wagyu burgers which were AMAZING!! One of the best burgers we have ever had!

My husband and I ate here last night. We thought the staff were all very friendly, the dining rooms were very cosy with a real fire making it a very relaxing atmosphere, and the food was lovely too. We would thoroughly recommend it.
Previous visitors to this hotel twice before. This time we stayed over New Year, and enjoyed it very much, the five course meal on New Years Eve a triumph for the chef!
What a shame that since new owners took over there is no comfortable...More
