I stopped overnight as part of a business trip. The Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming which made a change from the normal "corporate" hotels. The room was huge compared to those hotels. (I had the middle grade one) and was very comfortable. The location was ideal for an overnight stop , convenient to main road but in a...

My wife and myself had a very enjoyable one night stay here last weekend. We had a room on the upper floor at the sde of the hotel, we found it to be warm, clean and comfortable.Staff are helpful and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. We ate in the Italian restaurant on site that evening, very good meal and wine....

This hotel is awesome and fits into the quirky Cotswold theme. The food in their restaurant is amazing Italian cuisine and the town is small enough to walk around. All restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

Nice room, modern decor, good amenities , central location, arrive early to guarantee a free car space , not enough spaces for every room , if the hotel is full. Everything in bourton on water is on your doorstep,

When booking our family trip overseas (we are from Boston), I knew I wanted to be in Bourton-on-the-Water as the location in the Cotswolds is perfect. However, I couldn't decide where I wanted to stay. I finally settled on Chester House Hotel, and when we arrived I knew that it was the best choice. The staff were warm and inviting,...

We foolishly headed to the Cotswolds in November with no accommodation booked. Beautiful autumnal scenes. So lucky to get a last room here. Beyond grateful. And then to find we'd hit jackpot - this room was just what we were looking for. Not some impersonal chain hotel but a lovely family business. Quirky rooms...very individual...I loved ours. Cosy communal areas....

Because I was still waiting for my mum n sister she happily checked me in to both rooms. Gave me free wi fi password and pass for my car. Read other reviews of car park I...

The location of the hotel is perfect in the centre of Bourton on the Water. The rooms are very nice and spotlessly clean and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. Some things that could be better, firstly the car park is too small which is something they can do very little...
