Lovely quaint village.Beautiful cottage(kestrel),overlooking quaint stream.Everthing you needed was in cottage,with lovely touches of tea,coffee,milk on arrival.Cottage was beautifully clean.Towels,t/towels,washing up liquid ,dishcloth,scourer and toilet rolls all supplied.plenty of little tea rooms/eating places around so no need to cook if you want a relaxing break.
Spend the day strolling through this gorgeous village. There are lots of very cute shops, tea shops and pubs. Definitely give yourself several hours. Also, lots of B&B's but book in advance as they seem very busy.

Cotswold Cottages are a CSMA Club Leisure Retreat. The Cottages are nestled in Bourton on the Water, locally known as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds' and situated in some of the UK's most picturesque and unspoiled countryside. The cottages were converted from an old mill building and are perfectly equipped for a self-catering stay.

I used my car when staying here, but did see regular buses. Suggest you look at Pulhams coaches website for timetables. They go to other towns , but not sure if they go to places of interest like National Trust... More
I used my car when staying here, but did see regular buses. Suggest you look at Pulhams coaches website for timetables. They go to other towns , but not sure if they go to places of interest like National Trust properties as they tend to be off the beaten track. Hope this helps.
