We had an enjoyable 4 days at Southlands. The vegetarian breakfasts that we requested were excellent and there was plenty of choice - more than we could eat. Chris was so helpful in accommodating our tastes and giving us directions to local villages. Our twin room was small but nicely decorated and the bathroom had plenty of room to move...

This is a lovely quiet B&B just 10 mins walk from the centre of the village. Chris and Dave made us very welcome. Our bedroom on the front was delightful, comfortable and kept so clean. Breakfast was more than adequate - we could have anything we wanted. We were quite happy to have the TV on in the breakfast room...

We arrived at the B&B we found it clean, but very drab. The room was clean but found the bathroom had plastic cups for your toothbrush so it just kept falling out, thought there at least would have been glass one,s never had plastic before. We have stayed in many B&B's around the country and found it quite basic. The...

We have stayed here on many occasions, we always go back because it is perfect for our needs - comfortable, clean and welcoming. The remarks about the TV being on in the morning are harsh and unfair. We were there on that morning and wanted the TV on mainly for the weather forecast, however the bullying attitude of that lady...

If you like peace and quiet at breakfast time, don't stay here. The television is on in the breakfast room and, would you believe, stays on irrespective of the stated wishes of guests. On our first morning, by mutual agreement amongst all those present in the room, we turned it off. On our second (and final) morning we'd got as...

Stayed here for short break twice, very nice rooms, Chris and Dave very welcoming and very dog friendly. Had two lovely nights here and so handy to walk into Bourton on the Water and visit other places of interest .

We stayed at the end of May, we were greeted, signed in and shown an upgrade to a premier room, the standard room was good but for £10/night extra we took up the offer, we then were given coffee and biscuits on the lawn and met the owners dogs, it was like being part of the family toiletries were included...

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of May, we were greeted by the owners, checked in and given the option of an upgrade to the premier room, which we took up, the standard room was good but this one was great, there was a coffee and biscuits offered on the lawn which was most welcome, the room was...

We have just returned from a one night stay in Bourton and, after our original choice of B&B double booked us, at the last minute Southlands found us a room, which was greatly appreciated. Friendly owners, fantastic full English breakfast and just a short stroll from the village centre. Bathroom was spotless although rooms were a little dated. Would recommend.
