Bibury is popular at any time of year. Many cars were parked in February and one coach added to the mix. Clearly in summer the situation would be totally untenable and unpleasant for the discerning casual visitor. So one of the advantages in February was the immediate availability of a table here for my wife and I and two dogs....

We visited in November and ordered coffee and sandwiches and cake. The coffee did arrive one at a time with a wait in between. My husband mentioned that we had ordered two and the young man retorted "I only have 2 hands" The coffee was not good and we waited and waited for our sandwich and cake. By now the...

Whilst visiting Bibury earlier today we parked the car and wandered over the road to the William Morris tearoom.Internally the place looks the part and has some nice little touches however this is where the "nice"part discontinues. We ordered some hot chocolates to take away as well as some bakewell tarts, the latter costing £3.50 each. The gentleman serving could barely bring himself...

Clean room for an overnight stay. Very handy for a function we were attending in the village. Decor is not for the feint hearted though, weird clashes of colours and cultures could give you a headache. Continental type breakfast wasn't massively appealing. Friendly enough owners although their opening line was to ask us to pay the balance..

We went last Saturday for some hot drinks and cake on this very cute place FROM THE OUTSIDE, that's when the cuteness finish. Staff was very unwelcoming and not caring at all. We were given a table and waited until one of the plenty of staff (there were 5 at least vs 8 guests) decided to approach us. We ordered...

Firstly, this is a TEA room, not a cafe. There is a great selection of teas, but if it's coffee you're after then you have a choice of one - filter coffee. We decided not to risk it, and went for teas instead. All lovely, served in mismatched porcelain ware, with the diddiest little milk jug that needed a refill...

We stopped off for tea and cake. One of our party had soup which was described as bean and vegetable and priced over £5. I can only describe this a dirty dishwater with some undercooked beans. This was put with 2 slices of cheap bread! The filter coffee at over £2 was a tiny cup and we were given a...

Similar to the previous review we found the tea room attractive with a nice open fire. We also found the staff to be rude, the food to be average and the prices extortionate - £28 for three sandwiches and drinks. As the village is a tourist haven they have a captive audience and clearly don't care. Can't comment on the...

The open fire was welcoming and the different tea services added to the quaintness. But the service and price did not live up to expectation. The proprieters thought it ok to intrude on our privacy by sitting at a table in the tearoom and loudly holding forth to various suppliers, friends etc on the phone for almost the whole of...

Lovely little quaint cafe in a lovely location. Good variety on the menu with homemade cakes which were delightful. Very quirky little place with friendly staff. Cafe doesn't have very much seating so has to turn people away when busy but worth coming back to.
