I stayed at the Swan Hotel with my wife on our wedding night, and had dinner there the night before the wedding with many of our guests. While the hotel itself is very picturesque and our separate cottage accommodation was well-appointed, the service (both at reception and for our dinner, and when making/modifying bookings) was inept and unhelpful, bordering on...

What is it that is so special about The Swan? We just can't stay away and over 5 years returned and returned . Bibury itself has something to do with it .The little stream winding it's way enchantingly through the centre of the village, the old world thatched cottages, the trout farm and the Swans own gardens. This is the...

I'd give it 2.5 if I could. We've been to the Swan a good few times having got married just down the road at Bibury Court. On the plus side...the Swan is a lovely place and one of my favourites to go and drink in. The gardens are stunning at anytime of the year. The bar area is the perfect...

My Daughter bought this for my wife and I as a thank you and we really enjoyed it. The service was good and the cream tea was superb with all three parts - sandwiches, the scones cream and jam and the cake together with plenty of good tea. Thoroughly recommend it

We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Our room had very smart décor, a comfortable bed and a roomy bathroom. Food in the evening was good and nicely presented. There was a choice of bar meals or restaurant service. A very good continental buffet breakfast, plus good cooked breakfast if required.

Myself and my husband stayed for a wedding, we arrived early to get the most out of our stay and was lucky enough to be able to check in. We had a small lunch of sandwiches which was lovely. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The setting is fantastic and we will definitely be back to stay to visit the...

Prior to doing a circular walk through the Cotswolds we fortified ourselves with a coffee. Coming in through the garden to the bar in our clean discrete walking boots, we were served quickly and in a very friendly manner. But the real clincher was our friend arriving a few minutes later with her dog. The dog was spontaneously offered water...

We took my elderly mother to lunch at the hotel yesterday and can honestly say that it was the worst meal I have eaten out in a long while. Tasteless, watery prawn cocktail, boring shared meat platter with an extremely strange tasting scotch egg on it. Very disappointing - we are locals and used to enjoy eating there. Give it...

Wow! We stayed at this hotel as part of a wedding party. It is chocolate box perfect through and through. The rooms bring a new meaning to luxury. The breakfast was beyond mouthwatering. The staff were all very accommodating. The gardens and surroundings are spectacular. If you are looking for luxury in a truly English setting, tjis is your hotel....
