Tried to go to The Boathouse but fully booked. They recommended The Sun as a good alternative. Excellent decision as a good choice of ales and a very good lunch menu. Service was outstanding as well. Will definitely return but suggest you book in advance...More

What a lovely quaint place. Lovely staff, excellent food and beautiful rooms. I stayed in butchers out the back of the pub. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the bathroom amazing with excellent facilities. Would highly recommend staying here if you like rustic,...More

We had a rather gloomy room, "Butchers", at the back, reckoning it would be quieter there, which it was. It was perfectly adequate if not luxurious. The bed was very comfortable. The large bathroom has a great shower. The food, however, was very good indeed...More

Yes with the heaters off it was very warm in September which was a little chilly then so I think you should be 👌

I parked on the street but there is a narrow entrance next to the Sun Inn.
