We have stayed twice at the Old Borough Arms and whilst the position is very central we were disappointed on our second visit with the accommodation. The room was at best adequate and the furnishings and bathroom fittings could have been cleaner and updated. Shame as the staff are friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was lovely. I'm afraid we...

A nice little place to stay! Friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and only a short walk away for the centre of town or to the pub across the street with parking nearby. Definitely be going back!

Good location, and close to the centre of...

The edited highlights: We booked through Expedia weeks ago, but upon arrival were told that no booking...

I booked a single room here to stay after a long walk from Hastings to Rye. When I arrived, I was given an upgrade to a bigger room, asked if I wanted heating on, just generally felt very looked after. The staff were really nice. Couldn't fault it.

Situated in a wonderful position in this amazing old town, the Borough is a gem. We had excellent service throughout. Our room was quite small and being positioned on the lower floor so had no real outlook, but it was comfortable for 2 nights. Breakfasts were really nice and we made the most of the large balcony on the 2nd...
