Old Borough Arms was an excellent choice for a chilly winter escape to Rye. Centrally located in the historic part of the town, our superior double was spacious, warm and cosy, with a very comfortable bed, tasteful decoration and furnishing, and a modern bathroom. The only slight drawback was a low pressure (aka English) shower- perhaps unavoidable in this historic location?...

I can't believe it's four years since we last escaped to Rye for Mrs P's birthday weekend. This year we stayed at the Old Borough Arms ( I must admit that it would have been at our usual bolt hole of Jeakes House just up Mermaid Street if someone had got his bits into gear and booked earlier). The Old...

We have just spent two nights at The Old Borough Arms in Rye and have loved every minute of our time here. The staff were welcoming, warm and friendly. The room was beautiful, such a comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent too. Rye is a stunning picturesque town steeped in history with loads of restaurants, wine bars and pubs. We went...

We booked the Tilling Suite for 4 adults and a teenager for a New Year break. Very comfortable beds and lovely to have a a lounge area for us to relax in together with a television, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Cafe downstairs stayed open to cook us a delicious breakfast on New Year's Day....

Warm and welcoming family hosts from the moment we stepped through the door. Beautiful presented, clean, cosy and stylish bedroom. Great value and ideal location. Even the complimentary hot chocolate was delicious! Highly recommended.

We stayed in the apartment on the top floor for a couple of nights whilst visiting Rye for a birthday. The apartment was pretty spacious - one very good sized double, a smaller double and a single, with a bathroom and good sized lounge area - and very quirky, with a great deal of character in all the rooms! Tea...

Having stayed here for business I couldn't recommend enough. They have always been so helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything for our stay. So accommodating and the breakfast is amazing. Will definitely return.

An excellent hotel all round, its a shame we couldn't have stayed longer! Modern touches to a hotel with character, friendly staff and the most delicious breakfast. We felt very much at home and nothing was too much trouble. A short walk from the centre with parking near by. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We have stayed twice at the Old Borough Arms and whilst the position is very central we were disappointed on our second visit with the accommodation. The room was at best adequate and the furnishings and bathroom fittings could have been cleaner and updated. Shame as the staff are friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was lovely. I'm afraid we...

A nice little place to stay! Friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and only a short walk away for the centre of town or to the pub across the street with parking nearby. Definitely be going back!
