What a gem to find for our afternoon tea, served in their vintage tea room and a window seat to admire the amazing view. Couldn't fault this in any way, such a welcome with friendly and efficient staff who couldn't do enough for us to...More

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Hope Anchor hotel. The location is great to walk around Rye (although driving to park there involved navigating some narrow one way streets) and has some great views overlooking the downs. The reception staff were so friendly,...More

About
Description
Although famous for its past, the Hope Anchor is known locally for its stunning views across the Quayside, Romney Marshes, Camber Castle and beyond to the sea. Most of our rooms enjoy these panoramic views and to More be honest they need to be seen to be believed. Although beautiful all year round the sunsets in summer bring locals young and old to enjoy alfresco dining accompanied of course with a glass or two of wine! Less

It is at the front of the hotel but very limited and tight manoeuvring if you have a larger car - wouldn't recommend it !!
