We were disappointed at the cleanliness of our room and the property in general. I note someone else has said they had a lovely clean room but you only have to look above you in the conservatory where breakfast is served to know from the mould and the cobwebs that the property is too much for the host, lovely though...

We were a group of three walking the South Downs Way. We occupied a double room and one twin room. I understand that there is a basement apartment also. The detached property is situated on the western part of the village and is very close to the SDW. The extensive garden is well worth a look around. The rooms were...

My friend and I stayed her for one night whilst walking the South Downs Way. It was easy to find, just 0.2 miles of the SDW route, so perfectly located. Our host Jean made us feel very welcome with a pot of tea and lemon drizzle cake. Our twin bedroom was huge, comfortable and overlooking Was lovely to have the...

This was a great B&B, spotlessly clean and warm. Jean made feel welcome and served a lovely Full English breakfast with the addition of fresh seasonal fruit. Bed linens and bathroom were excellent. Very welcome oasis after a long day of walking and the bath was most welcome.

We stayed here whilst walking the South Downs Way with friends. Our host was very friendly, our rooms were comfortable. Breakfast excellent. This is a quiet location with an excellent pub down the road The Juggs Inn.

We arrived to homemade flapjack and tea which was lovely. The rooms were large and both had a bath - a real luxury when you are doing a long walk. The setting of the house, the garden and the village are beautiful. Great breakfast too.

Have done many long distance walks and stopped in many b&bs and this was an exemplar for all others. Beautifully furnished, perfectly equipped and Mrs Hudson was a splendid host who made us most welcome in her home despite us trailing mud onto her light and bright carpets. A cup of team and flatjacks were waiting on arrival and a...

We stayed here while walking the South Downs Way last month, and I cannot recommend it more enthusiastically. The owner must be the most thoughtful host in England. We arrived early and soaked from rain, but this was no problem for her--she dried our clothes, put our boots to dry in the boiler room, and served us hot drinks in...

Arrived to a warm welcome plus tea and flapjack. A large, spacious comfortable ensuite room overlooking the beautiful garden. Fantastic night's sleep in this quiet village of kingston. Fantastic choice of breakfast, which included a delicious fresh fruit salad.

This is a lovely B&B located close to the South Downs Way. Just a short walk from the path. Breakfast was lovely. Nicely cooked, great for vegetarians as well. Welcoming and a nice stop. Would definitely stay again.
