This is a beautifully restored building which used to house the printing presses for the local newspaper. Generous sized rooms which have plenty of period charm without feeling cluttered. Delicious breakfast and friendly hosts.

We were organising our usual annual trek through East Sussex and wanted to attend the Seafood & Wine festival in Hastings and decided to stay another night on the Saturday. Huge long story short... No hotels from Rye to Pevensey were available & there are many. On of chance saw that The Printworks suddenly came available and we booked. What...

Originally I was booked to stay here for the two nights over my wedding and the actual event was booked at another location. However, when that venue proved unsuitable, I went to see the Printworks as a potential replacement. Lorna was fantastic from that point and I arranged to hold the civil ceremony and reception there. We used the bar...

We stayed for the May bank holiday weekend. The building was really lovely, old and quirky with stylish decor. Lorna gave us good tips about where to go out to eat and to park. It's a massive place, but with only a couple of rooms, so it feels like you get a very personal service. Breakfast was lovely, the fresh...

Lovely old building tastefully restored in vintage/industrial style. Convenient for seafront and the old town. Great breakfast served by knowledgeable hosts. There are quite a few stairs but its worth the effort.

Once you have managed to find a parking space nearby (if your lucky) and paid we found the entrance to this B and B. The owner greeted us thinking we were early however I had sent a message and left a voicemail as requested confirming the original arrival time which it was - she had gotten distracted by a visitor...

A great place to stay in Hastings - a wonderful space. The rooms are large, comfortable, clean. The breakfast is delicious with fresh juices, homemade jams, cereal, fresh bread and cooked breakfast on offer too. The owner is friendly and welcoming with good advice about the area. Our first choice place to stay in Hastings with or without the children....

The Printworks is an excellent addition to Hastings great places to stay. There are a lot of stairs but this only serves to enhance the experience. The views are fantastic. Lorna, the host and owner, is attentive, helpful, friendly and a great person to get local knowledge from. The room was enormous, with a hallway connecting the bedroom and the...

stayed here midweek in a unique eclectic B&B. Large bedroom and even larger bathroom - Claremont room. Mix of furniture from various decades but a modern bathroom suite with large bath and shower. Great rooftop views from bedroom and a home cooked to order breakfast from Lorna makes this a unique stay as an alternative to faceless modern hotels in...
