Just returned from a 2-day break at this guest house. Its important to note its a guest house and not a hotel, as the service is slower. The owner is friendly and very polite and ensures its known to all that this is a guest house purely based on relaxtion. Which actually makes a nice change with no tv!. The...

We have just returned from the Cloudesley Hotel with friends for a 2 night break. A really really nice bed and breakfast establishment. All rooms very well presented with some very interesting and unusual artifacts in the communal rooms that the owner is only to pleased to tell you about. We stayed in the Ferdosi room which is at the...

We got off to a slow start which inspired our stay... Allow plenty of time to enjoy the unrushed pace at The Cloudsley. Beautifully appointed rooms, very clean and well presented from the super soft sheets and towels to the personalised breakfast. Try the treatments too because they are similarly well done. Don't stop here if you are in a...

Really really loved this place! I came here with my boyfriend, he's 19 and I'm 18. Such a lovely little Bed and Breakfast although the rooms are more like hotel rooms. Really fancy! Clean, spacious and the bathroom was great. Lovely English breakfast in the morning that I had two mornings in a row because it was so good. The...

I love it here. There is nothing negative to say. The owner, the decor, the atmosphere, the food, the service, the rooms; are all first rate. I'm planning to return again and again. The rooms are so beautiful they are great inspiration for your own home. The owner and the staff are some of the nicest, more genuine people you...

Stayed here with my mother last week. Creative. All the rooms were impeccably designed, so original and very inspiring. I was particularly consumed by the paintings and photography spotted all over the hotel, ones which had been produced by the owner, a lovely personal touch. Cool. I loved that it was a conscious decision not to have a television in...

Having just returned from our second stay at The Cloudesley, my girlfriend and I have once again been blown away by the wonderful food, decor and service this wonderful little hotel has to offer. We were greeted by the owner, Shahriar, a friendly and quite remarkable host. As we were shown to our room, Sharhriar explained at length and in...

We stayed at the Cloudesley late November for an anniversary weekend. Situated in a residential road, we initially couldn't find it, only because it was dark when we arrived. Look out for the bamboo in the front garden, the owner is a bamboo expert. We were greeted by Shahriar (the owner) who came out into the road to meet us...

My partner and I stayed at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast for two nights (24th - 25th). We chose the 'Hafez' room and would recommend it to everyone. Impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, the attention to detail was a clear representation of the owners passion for his work. The breakfast was of an unexpected level of quality and absolutely delicious!...

Spotless rooms, great breakfast and wonderful host. The Cloudesley in 5 minute walk from the beach in a quiet residential street where it's easy to park on the street. We stayed for two nights, we were offered a drink on arrival and had a chat with the host about the local area. We walked to the old town in hastings...
