The Alexanders Bed and Breakfast was very clean and a good location and staff were friendly and helpful but the size of the double room was a disappointment VERY small and VERY small bed, too much furniture could not swing a cat and very hot at night, which meant we had to keep window open and road and seagulls kept...

We went to Alexanders for two nights with friends and stayed in two rooms. Both rooms had an adult and young children (Ages 7 and 5). The hotel is located on the sea front and the rooms faced the sea- absolutely beautiful! The rooms are clean and well kept. There is even an empty fridge, which is very useful. Breakfast...

I stayed at Alexander for 2 weeks in July, when I was travelling to Hasting for business. The Bed & Breakfast has a perfect location. Walking distance to go everywhere nice in the town, especially if you like running, it is perfect. Various restaurants and bars are located in less than 3 mins walk from the property. The rooms are...

Booked a room here through Booking.com for a double sea view room - exactly what we got. Perfect location - within walking distance of everything! Nice and clean and tastefully designed. The only niggles I would say are the room sizes are slightly on the small side, but I did read this in a review prior to booking! Breakfast times...

Perfectly located (for us), less than 2 minutes from local bars. On the sea front with sea views available. This is a welcoming, clean and comfy B&B. Breakfast was nice and served in a nice bright and spacious room. My only gripe was the 1030hrs check out (on a Sunday).

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for one night we both wasn't expecting much but it was absolutely amazing I couldn't of faulted anything the staff where really nice and friendly and made you feel welcome as soon as you walked in, the room was smaller then expected but that didn't matter as we wasn't in it for long, the...

The room was nice and clean and the location was excellent. As other reviews have mentioned you have to specifically book and pay extra for breakfast, which was odd. The breakfast was nice enough but overpriced in my opinion.

Stayed in an immaculate double room that looked like it had recently been refurbished (as had the bathroom). Very powerful, hot shower. Only downside was the considerable noise from the street below (undesirables - some might call them 'chavs', riding up and down on dirt bikes/having arguments etc. Into the very early hours). Double glazing would make a huge difference...

We had 2 family rooms for our stay, which were a good size, sea view and one of which had a balcony, which was a nice surprise:) It is a great location- right on the seafront and walkable to everything. The staff were great and the breakfast was well worth the money. The whole place was spotlessly clean, very comfortable...

A totally average B&B. Nothing shocking, but nothing to write home about. Apart from the 10.30am checkout on a Sunday morning, which is ludicrous. Especially as you can't check in before 4pm. No doubt the owners will have justified this to themselves with some elaborate explanation, and by their responses to other reviews will no doubt shoot this comment down....
