We have become repeat guests here because it is reliably clean and friendly. The atmosphere of ease and pleasantry from the moment we arrive helps my daughter, who suffers from severe anxiety, settle and relax. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the breakfast exactly what suits us, a nice number of choices and cooked well. Attentive service without fuss. We...

We spend just one night at Alvia Hotel. Great place to stay. From the very first moment I did the booking, Mark was incredibly helpful and anticipating to all our needs. Room was not that big but super cosy. Maximum attention to the detail, from customer service, to cleanliness, breakfast service and general hospitality. Hotel is really well located, minutes...

Stayed here for one night the day before a university interview. We were fortunate enough to be allowed to check in later that usual (about 8:15pm) which is after their arrivals times. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and tidy, well provided with towels etc. Bed was extremely comfy and spacious. However the room was very cramped but suited...

Thanks for your review. If I could correct one point, it says quite clearly on our website - under the section about parking - that parking must be booked in advance. best wishes Mark

We stayed at the Alvia Hotel towards the end of February 2017. We had room 4. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed mattress was superb, could have slept comfortably for hours!!! The owners Mark & Pierre were most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Mark helped us with our luggage and wheelchair both on arrival and...

Great place to stay. Perfectly placed to walk to all that brighton offers, including a 5 minute walk to the sea. Rooms were perfect in every way. Linen crisp and white. Lovely breakfast and delightful proprietor. Will definitely come again.

Our room No 4 was very clean and well equiped, the bed and pillows was very comfy, this is always a problem for me and I am happy to say that we did not have a problem with the bed, the quilt too was lovely and warm. The en suite had a very powerful shower and plenty of hot water....

Our first time visiting Brighton in order to attend a 50th Birthday celebration and one is always wondering what awaits them accommodation- wise. We need not have worried as our experience proved to be just perfect. The courtesy, cleanliness and catering were all first-rate and will certainly use again when visiting Brighton.

I stayed here for my 20th birthday with my mum as a weekend trip away. Never stayed in a B&B before but the experience was very pleasant. Perfect location in the middle from the marina and the pier, plenty of shops, restaurants and bars near by. One thing I would say is they charge £15 for parking for 24 hours...

Hello Samantha I'm pleased that you enjoyed your stay here. As you point out, there are a lot of stairs to the top floor, which we draw visitor's attention to on our web site and when making bookings. Our parking rates are competitive, given that we are in the centre of town and offer secure on site parking: I'm not...
