Stayed for two nights and had a fantastic stay. We arrived early and received a very warm welcome and our room was ready which allowed us to park, unpack and set off on our planned activities. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed with the bonus of the fantastic view. The breakfast was excellent and the best we have ever had! We look forward to visiting again, thank you very much.
In March, my love and I traveled to Brighton for 4 days to visit a dear friend of ours. We stayed in A Room With a View, it was the first time but not the last! 😍 The rooms are nicely furnished, cozy, the cleanliness is impeccable and the sea view has a wonderful. The staff is helpful and really kind. 🥰 You can also order breakfast, which we tried, the selection is wide and very delicious.🤩 Thanks to all the staff for their help, we will definitely go again!❤️
We have stayed many times in Brighton as our son lives there and as we only wanted a one night stay this time, we booked bed and breakfast at A Room With A View. The main bedroom was clean and tastefully furnished. The breakfast was very good and it was a bonus to have a free parking space. However, the room was uncomfortably warm and even though we turned the air-con on, the room became very stuffy overnight. It's not possible to open windows as they've been painted shut but you probably wouldn't want to anyway due to noise. The en-suite shower room wasn't as clean as it could have been. Overall, it was disappointing bearing in mind the cost and we probably wouldn't stay again.
Visited RWAV to see a Blondie concert and visit friends. Firstly, they happily and quickly re-arranged from Nov 21 to April 22 when the concert was moved with swift communication. When I arrived in April it was easy to park (great to have free parking in Brighton!). Check in was friendly and efficient. My room was as described and while small (I booked a single) it still had a (real!) view of the sea and nearby park. The bathroom was a great size (often in single rooms the shower and toilet are in a pokey cupboard - not so here). The bed and pillows were comfortable and room fully equipped. I’d definitely stay again (and would partake of the breakfast as it looked awesome!). On departure, they really nicely asked another guest to move their car so I could make an early start home which was super helpful (thanks to the other guest too!). Recommend!…
This is my second visit to this gorgeous place. We stayed over the Easter weekend and we certainly will be returning. Room was lovely, stayed in room 8 on the third floor which had a lovely sea view. We were welcomed by Vicky, lovely and very friendly. Room was immaculate, super clean and tidy. Had everything in there you could need/want. I saved the best bit until last. The breakfast was incredible could swap things over if you didn’t like them. I’m not gluten free but another lady staying was and they had options for her which is good. Best breakfast we’ve ever had, and we have had a fair few! This hotel/b&b is so close to everything so you could leave your car and walk everywhere. We can’t wait to come again. Thanks for a lovely stay. Brilliant for couples as it’s adults only
Stayed at a Room with a View beginning of April. Amazing little place. We knew we were going to have a good stay straight away when we were greeted by the lovely Sam, nothing too much trouble, absolutely customer focused. We thought our sea view would be one of those stick your head out the window but no so pleasantly surprised, it was lovely. Room comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Location was great for us as we wanted parking and be a little distance from the busy areas, although this isn't that far at all. So near to the Pier. Breakfast was lovely, nothing was too much trouble, good selection but if you wanted something different that this was fine too. Would recommend this hotel. We had a lovely break. Thank you.
Great location, five mins walk from the lanes and central Brighton and what a view . The name says it all ! great room and breakfast . No fuss just easy .so good to have parking on the premises .Perfect and thank you to all of the staff
Well what can I say what an amazing hotel, the staff greeted us with a warm welcome. Honestly even asking us if we had travelled far was such a lovely thing. We were on the top floor. Their was ALOT of steps but once we were at the top the view was just amazing the room was perfect perfect perfect. We had a double bed with a sitting area and then steps up to a terrace where we could see the whole beach front and pier. The breakfast was amazing and so much choice. Even catering for Gluten free me. I will 100% be back and I most certainly recommend this hotel with A* for effort.
Arrived just after 12pm as that’s when you can use their car park area (space for 6 cars) but there is easy parking on the streets just to either side. Welcomed by a friendly member of staff who advised the room would be available around 2pm. The hotel of course lives up to its name with fantastic views out over the beach and of Brighton pier, with a nice small park area just to the side. Room (5) was lovely, plenty of plug sockets and built in USB chargers for tech. Bathroom was modern and had a great walk-in shower with two separate shower heads. Bed was comfortable, could easily sleep with the window wide open as it was not too noisy at all. Didn’t have breakfast here (plenty of cafes around, just a few hundred meters away) but it seemed well-stocked and smelt nice! Complimentary use of binoculars so you can have a good view of the surrounding area. Flatscreen TVs on walls, Krupps coffee machine and a small fridge as well. Hairdryer and lovey smelling soaps and washing paraphernalia included. Had a lovely relaxing stay!…
stayed in oak room which was really nice great sea views, coffee machine and fridge, comfortable bed, lovely bath and shower facilities, so had everything needed. Free parking. Compared to other hotels in the area offering comparable rooms I would say this offers great value and finished off with an excellent breakfast.
