I stayed at Happy for 5 nights in August. It was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in over a dozen. Alex, Alice, and Alex’s dad were all helpful, friendly and efficient and could not do enough to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The facilities are great and cleanliness was superb throughout. The large...

We stayed at happy Brighton for one month and we couldn't have made a better decision. The place was very clean and the common area had an excellent environment (mostly because the people who were there were very kind and open-minded). You can chat and meet new people while having a nice dinner made in a very well equipped kitchen....

Location is perfect, 2 mins from the Pier !! (Maybe not even that.) Host is very friendly and helpful, with lots of info about what to do / see whilst here. Such good value for money with the lovely rooms - access to communal kitchen and socialising space. Would definitely return

Stayed in the 6 bed pod room with a group of friends. The pods were great - cosy and private. Location of the hostel is perfect. 2 mins walk to the sea and walking distance to restaurants, bars, clubs, train station and the pavilion. Alex and the rest of the staff were lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and stay...

HAPPY Brighton is fantastic and perfectly located. You couldn't be closer to the beach and pier, and it is only 15-20 minutes walk from the station. It is modern, clean, well-decorated, and comfortable. The rooms are a reasonable size and there are lots of useful extras like the ground-floor toilet (useful after a night out), reasonably-priced laundry, and fantastic basement...

HAPPY Brighton stays true to it's name. It is by far the best hostel I've ever stayed in (and I've had my fair share!). Perfect beach/city centre location. The staff make you feel so welcome and offer to help with the little things that make your visit and travel plans run that much smoother. Alex printed out my friends flight...

Alex was very welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect and just a stone's throw to the sea front. The whole place was clean and had a really nice atmosphere, especially in the common room area/kitchen which was organised and had everything you needed. The rooms were also really funky (the pods offered privacy and comfy/clean bedding). Alex was just...

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. We stayed in the pod rooms which I would definitely recommend! They're spacious and have plug points to charge your phone. We only met Alex briefly (his dad checked us in- also a great guy) but he seemed genuine and rather chilled about checking out times and keeping our bags in...

I booked this hostel as a lone traveller for a few days in Brighton. The location was fantastic! Couldn't have asked for better- it was right across the street from the beach and pier, just a few blocks away from Royal Pavilion/Museum/shopping/great restaurants and a central bus area, and just a 15 min walk from the train station. Hostel was...
