Loved it! Loved the pod, all areas were clean in hostel. Great location, could see the pier from bedroom window and well equipped kitchen. Common room is also really good. Alex the owner is super nice and helpful and nothing seems like a hassle to him. Thank you!

The location and cost of the room cannot be beat. You are walking distance from shops, the pier, and restaurants. Alex and his father were really excellent hosts. I would HIGHLY recommend booking your next stay in Brighton at HAPPY!

Happy is the absolute best hostel I've ever stay in! The staff is beautifully caring and funny, the sleeping areas are convenient and practical and the shared rooms are kept clean and fully equipped! I travel as a young woman on my own and I also felt very safe and at home at the premises. I only stayed for three...

I spent 2 nights at Happy Brighton. Below is my review with all the main points that I usually look for when researching hostels. Staff: Alex is the most accomodating host. He obviously goes above and beyond, it makes the place feel like your crashing at a mates place. He's extremely helpful! He gave us a tour of the hostel,...

Perfect location by the sea just 5 minutes away from the station and the Lanes, yet on a quiet street. The pods are fantastic! Once you close the curtain it's like having your own little private room even though you're sharing with several people. The 8 pod female-only room has a spacious en-suite bathroom and surprisingly I never had to...

I went to this hostel with 3 other friends and it felt like home. The pods we stayed in were clean and comfy and the room was spacious. Spent a lot of time in the living room/kitchen where we met a lot of amazing people (who we are already missing so much). You can watch movies, listen to music, or...

I stayed 2 nights in a shared pod-room at Happy Brighton in August. The host Alex is very welcoming and nice, and he showed me around in the building. Alex also answeres emails quickly if you have anything to ask prior to your visit. The pod room is not very spacious, but there is enough storage space for luggage and...

It took me so long to write this review, because I didn't find the right words to describe my stay at the Happy Brighton. Before I went there I looked at the reviews and I couldn't believe why everybody had just positive reviews of it. Because normally this can't be true but after I checked in Happy I totally got it...
