My daughter and I had a one night stay at the New Madeira Hotel. Its location is excellent. Overlooking Brighton Wheel, Seafront and Pier whilst being three minutes walk from the Brighton Lane. They are obviously refurbishing this hotel a bit at a time (although there was no unsightly scaffolding or building works) They have completed the first two floors... More

Overpriced for what is on offer. Rooms were clean but showing signs of age...Extremely noisy at night from Disco downstairs and drunken guests shouting and slamming doors late at night...and an early wake up call from the seagulls !!! Friendly and helpful staff but that didn't make up for the bad aspects...If you want to party, maybe the place for... More

We had asked for a quite room and the hotel was very helpful and allocated us room 318 which was perfect! not a sound could be herd from the busy bar/ disco downstairs. The room was clean and well presented. The hotel provided... More

Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. But the rooms were pretty gross. Needs a refurb and re style and new beds and lamps that work. Room was cold and noisy as next to main road, drunk people shouting in early hours. The windows were banging loudly due to wind, facilities were poor, felt like I was in the YMCA. No... More

I stayed for one night at the New Madeira Hotel. The location was fantastic, the staff friendly and the bar area cozy. The room was pretty basic, but had everything one should need for their stay. Comfortable beds and a nice tv.

I stayed here for 9 weeks while I was training for a new job. The staff were very friendly and there to help with whatever I needed. All the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I fully recommend this hotel x

Went as part of hen weekend, room was as expected albeit a bit cold, no frills but we were out and about in Brighton all day and night so wasn't that fussed. We found staff were helpful, there are better hotels so if I was going with my husband and kids I wouldn't choose this hotel but for hen do... More

I had been here before but that was with my best mate after we'd been to a nearby gig,, This time I was with the wife and two young daughters.. The staff are lovely! Very friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic. A double bed, single and a cot. The view across to the Pier was brilliant! The breakfast was... More

We had a lot of fun on the one night our family of five adults stayed at this hotel. The hotel is a bit funky, but that's okay, it's Brighton! Right across from the Brighton Pier, wow, what a nice evening view...although one of our rooms was on the backside of the hotel. Beds were comfortable but the hotel is... More

Appalling experience! Windows were so bad, single glazed on a main road with added bonus of nightclub attached! We had to stuff gaps with newspaper and towels because it was so noisy and absolutely freezing. Curtains may have helped if they actually fitted the windows! The night manager just shrugged his shoulders at our 1am complaint which resulted in us... More
