Myself and my husband have just spend a fab 2 nights here and it was brilliant! We booked The "Krakens Lair" for 2 nights, it really was a fun room!! Must admit tho, for what we paid, it could defo do with a refit and good clean. It wasn't dirty at all, everything just seemed in need of a refurb....

A great idea. Fun boutique themed rooms. The Decor is a little tired and the rooms require a bit of tlc... But overall it was a fun experience. Would I go again? Possibly... Yes. Worth the price tag? If the upkeep maintained with more attention to detail... then yes.

Booked the Pin Up room as a surprise for my girlfriend, hoping to show her how much fun Brighton can be. Sadly the pictures on the website depict a much more upmarket experience than we had. No mention was made of the scaffolding covering the front of the hotel when I booked. The hotel may be meant to feel rock...

Unusual and an experience but slightly run down and in need of a refurb. Scaffolding up all over the front spoiled the sea view and had we known about that we probably wouldn't have booked. I imagine the live music sessions would be fun. Room we had was ok but could have done with a mirror for drying hair and...

Where do I start?! I booked one night in The Pin Up Parlor as a suprise for my other half, she's into Burlesque and all things vintage - So it was perfect. Upon booking I emailed the hotel to ask whether it would be ok for me to send up two cards so they'd be ready and waiting for when...

Great Hotel with an excellent breakfast Stayed because they had a band playing so we came for the night and had a great time Staff were very friendly and the owner Mick was very friendly and chatted to us in the bar. Music in bar was excellent. The hotel does everything it says on the tin. May not be everyone's...

Stayed for just one night in the Cloud Cuckoo Room 17 on the top floor, probably 3 star in terms of facilities but an experience not to be missed. What makes it good is the wacky details, the art that is everywhere, the friendly staff, excellent cocktails and breakfast. Best of all our room had the most comfortable bed, pillows...

I wasn't expecting this from a small hotel in Brighton but I have to say I loved it. It was an amazing quirky hotel. My room was Do Knit Disturb which was so funky. Everything was knitted, phone cosy, lampshade, curtains, even wall paper. So cute. Just a single room but had ensuite. Hotel even had a very small lift....

Don't say here if you want to sleep. Very noisy bar in the hotel with thumping music that is very loud in the rooms. The staff don't give a c@#p, they are too cool for boring paying customers. Very disappointed with and upset by our stay here.

Brighton used to be edgy and have attitude, with it's vintage shops and alternative culture. Now it seems more a faded low-end hen-night destination. Similarly, I can imagine the Pelirocco was originally very original and fun. But this weekend it was noisy, run-down and pretty dirty. The music and drunk bar clientele kept me awake long past an acceptable hour...
