My husband and 3 children stayed at the lanes hotel for a break. The room was lovely great view of the pier and very clean. The breakfast was nice also. The only down full on the hotel being advertised for family's and at breakfast there was 3 family's with baby's and only 1 high chair to share between us. This...

We stayed at The Lanes Hotel 25th - 28th March 2017. What a lovely hotel! All the staff couldn't have been nicer, all so very helpful with information. We had a balcony room overlooking the sea. It was absolutely fantastic, large and with a table and two seats to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. The weather was brilliant which for March...

You can probably find a more modern hotel, but you cannot beat the location and the staff. We got first rate hospitality from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Everyone from the girls who cleaned the rooms, the waiting staff, front of house, the hotel owner, even the maintenance guy were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Emily provided...

Stayed here last weekend with my partner. Perfect location to walk into Brighton. Nice to be on the front and not down back streets. All staff we came across were extremely friendly. Especially all the reception staff, making sure we were happy with everything and knew where we were going where we were heading out. Only negative was that the...

Lovely wee hotel right on the beach front. The pier is a 5 to 10 minute walk away. Hotel rooms are really clean with comfy beds. Hot water constantly. Breakfast was served quickly and had just what you need to set you up for the day. Best thing about this hotel is the staff. I have never met friendlier. Adelaide...

If you value a warm welcome, good service, clean comfortable rooms and a good breakfast, and don't worry about the latest furnishing and bathroom fittings, then this good value hotel is for you. We stayed here in difficult circumstances when a relative was very ill in the Sussex County Hospital, and found the staff extremely kind and helpful. Nothing was...

Stayed here with my wife and two little boys for my 40th. Had a lovely clean cosy family room with a 4 poster bed - was great. We were offered a bigger room (at no extra cost) purely because the staff thought we might want more room, but we were more than happy with the original. Great views of the...

Warm welcome, recently refurbished room, clean tidy, comfortable. Breakfast freshly cooked, well served by a friendly, cheerful waitress. Very good value for price. Good location, close enough to attractions but not to busy.

We decided to stay here after seeing it on our previous trips to Brighton. The position is excellent - right on the sea front and 60 secs from walking on the promenade. There is parking as has been noted on other posts, which is free if one can get a space; but 5 mins walk away - left outside the...
