We stayed 1 night and wanted to check in a bit earlier. It was completely full so Dominic at the front desk advised us it was 15.00 check-in as it had been full the night before. He did however suggest we phone nearer the time to see. When we phoned about 1.30pm he not only remembered us but had our...

An older hotel which take quite a lot of traffic and punishment. Busy hotel with good outside seating facilities. Coaches drop of numbers of guests for this hotel. I would say it is understaffed in the service/food/drink area. Better to go inside and get your own. No airconditioning which means you have to open your windows....the noise goes on all...

Very nice time in Brighton, the hotel staff are very warm and inviting. Many thanks to Miriam for organising my change of room, after lift issues. She ensured everything was moved for me and allocated me a lovely sea front room. Many of our soirées were held here and the staff were very good in their approach. Highly recommend

I have stayed in this hotel before, and was happy to come back again. The same friendly lady was in charge of breakfast, and she runs a tight ship ! The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel, but breakfast in particular was delicious and the restaurant is run brilliantly when she is there, which is most of the time. The buffet...

The hotel itself has seen better days. It is pretty run down and is in need of renovation. There was also a lot of noise from the bar downstairs. But this was all balanced out by the gorgeous sea view and the excellent breakfast. Perfect location for a short stay. The staff were very friendly. An overall pleasant experience

My partner and I stayed at the Old Ship for one night only. I booked this hotel as it was close to the seafront, shops, restaurants and also had onsite parking. The hotel reception and lobby was decorated really nice but that’s where it ended. Our room was on the 3rd floor which wasn't a problem. The room had no...

What a comfortable hotel to stay in. Right in the sea front with unblocked views looking over the beach and pier. Rooms are very well appointed and bespoke. A real warren of a building dating back to the 1600s. One of my favourite seaside retreats.

The hotel it's self is beautiful. Our room was nice and it was great to have valet parking. The staff were all lovely but everything took so long.
