The room was vile , shower was filthy - bed had hairs allover sheets and pillow . Also my Ralph Lauren glasses were stolen by the housekeepers . I would never recommend this place or ever go anywhere near it . It's a shame as the location is faultless . Even the air con electric cables were hanging over the...

There is nowt royal about it but its good value for anybody wanting to stay right by the pier on a modest budget! Rooms were quiet and cosy enough but could really do with a little updating though...consider somewhere more expensive if your looking for a romantic night!

I stayed in this hotel at the end of March 2014. Well what were the good things to say about this hotel? the only thing i can think of is its location! i dont think you will beat it. The hotel itself as awfull, its like stepping back into the 1970's, that even includes the uniforms. The general state of...

Room was filthy and cold. Vomit stains on bathroom walls and door. Had to use all blankets in the room to try and keep warm. Rugby club party took over the hotel and the party goers were running around the corridors all night and tried to get in our room. Public areas a mess. Tired old hotel dirty soft furnishings....

I was originally booked into the Jurys Inn but when I arrived the tour operator I had booked through had gone bust. As I was due to do the marathon I needed a hotel in a hurry so paid a ridiculous price to stay at the Royal Albion. It is well located but that is the only plus. Our room...

In one word yes. Do not attempt to come here, it reminds me of the Overlook Hotel from the Shining. It is the 21st century right? Apart from the Italian school students and the odd couple, this place should be condemned. The food, rooms are so poor!

I have stayed here before but not for a number of years, how sad this hotel is falling apart, it needs a lot of money spent on her, our room needed a new en suite, the curtains had ever coffee or blood up them. The walls needed painting and the tv signal was so bad I gave up watching it....

We had 2 rooms,1 standard single and 1 standard double. The single room was tiny (326) with damp patches on the walls. The double wasn`t too bad but the carpet was stained, dust all along the skirting boards

It's bang on the seafront opposite the pier it's ok ,it's clean enough bed wise but it's well overdue a refurb ,the breakfast is buffet style for 70 - 80 quid it's ok The area is rife with stag dos and rugby tours but there is loads to do and see and tons of quirky bars and eateries , don't...

The outside appearance is appalling, sadly nothing changes upon entering! When checking in I found the staff disinterested and unhelpful. A man at the desk complaining about his room was met with the same attitude. This place is dirty worn out and out of date. Carpets are worn and heavily stained, plaster paint and wall paper peeling from stained walls...
