Stayed with 2 friends and my partner. On arrival thought what a good location, bar over looking pier and sea, central for town. Room large, bed comfy sheets and towels clean, ample pillows. Windows filthy, jacuzzi bath didn't work, bathmat disgusting. Breakfast good choice, probably the best part of staying here. Dinner was dreadful. Fried fish cremated, sausages looked like...

I booked this hotel before looking it up on trip advisor and was worried when i saw all the bad comments and not to mention the pictures that came up of the hotel rooms. However we had a lovely room over looking the pier which also had a balcony. The room was basic but the price of it was so...

Time to pull it down and start afresh. I have been staying at this hotel frequently over the last eight years and, sadly, watched it's steady decline. It is faded, tired, drab, worn and actually sad. Specifics: carpets are worn and grubby in the public areas and stained in the bedrooms (I have stayed in four rooms this year); all...

Hi. I read the reviews on here the morning before setting off and was so worried about what we were going to find! I'm 36 weeks pregnant and we were taking my 2 yr old daughter. When we arrived at Brighton we were so pleased to see the hotel was right opposite the pier and sealife centre. Then the receptionist...

We traveled and arrived at the royal Albion on Friday 9th May 2014. We paid £159 for 2 nights for 2, and went with 2 friends who also took up the deal. Well what can I say? We have been on many of these deals and this has to be the worst. We stayed in room 108, which was very...

My wife booked this hotel for us and her cousin & husband after buying some Groupon vouchers. Only after booking did we look at the reviews on TripAdvisor and were worried to say the least. However when we arrived we found the location was excellent, right opposite the pier; check-in was quick and friendly; we'd been allocated sea view rooms...

Most of what has been said about this hotel is true. It is the worse hotel i've ever stayed in. I've rated it 2 star because i think the staff were friendly and helpful enough and i didn't necessarily have a 'bad' time. However, check in took about 20 minutes because there was a queue, there is only one small...

The hotel was awful. An old building with no effort put in to make it look - at the least - acceptable: wallpaper put on poorly so there are creases and all cracked, drab colours, awful carpets fraying, holes in walls!! With just a "caution" cone next to it, no attempt to even clean up the debris around the hole...

Do i have to give it a one star??? As even that is too much! I have just this BH weekend spent 2 nights there. Well Where do i start! A regular in Brighton at least 3 times per year and usually stay in the Hilton. Well what a mistake this was! It took us over 20 mins waiting to...

This should be one of the best location in Brighton for a hotel. Just by the Brighton pier , centre of Brighton with the sea view..It's not a luxury hotel by any mean. Could say a budget hotel. Old fashioned setup, atmosphere. Seems like most group travellers , holiday coach groups stay there... Having stayed there many times,I can say...
