Brilliant location, quirky boutique hotel, trendy vibe, very well run and very friendly and inclusive of young and old, couples and families. We had 3 nights in the big room with the whacky balcony and sea view over Easter and had a great time.

I booked a room for one night for my boyfriend and I in celebration of his birthday. From the welcome at the check-in desk, to the delicious breakfast before check-out, everything was beautifully thought out and executed by the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We wished we could have stayed longer and experienced the cocktail shack/restaurant; given the outstanding...

Stayed for two nights in a cosy room. Really comfortable stay, very nice staff and felt homely. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant is a must try. Room was a little small at times but I expected it as 'cosy'. Left with a definite smile and would recommend. Parking in the underground car park was very handy too.

I've always been lucky with my accommodation in Brighton but this is certainly the best place I have stayed and my favourite. I spent two nights here over the marathon weekend with my three children and au pair. Artist Residence is central (close enough to walk to the starting line and hobble back from the finish). The staff, decor, food...

Stayed for two nights over the Easter weekend and it was lovely. We had booked into a smaller room but luckily got upgraded. This meant staying in a room with a free standing bath and great views over the BA 360 tower and the sea. The hotel itself is in a quiet spot but is close to everything we wanted...

Just had a night in Brighton and stayed at The Artists Residence as it seemed such an interesting spot. And it was. I didn't love all the elements of the interiors but I loved how quirky it all was and how it all stood together. And the bar was stunning, especially at night. What made the stay though was the...

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were really friendly, and had left some chocolate bunnies in the room as an Easter treat! Great location by the sea, perfect for people visiting Brighton. Our room was nice, and very quiet. Also there is a great cocktail bar attached.

Visited for the Easter break - I would say for the price I'm not convinced it's worth it. Breakfast was included as we booked via Mr and Mrs Smith the room was not cheap so a little surprised to learn it would have been extra for breakfast if we hadn't booked with Mr and Mrs. Only 20 + rooms so...

We had some Mr & Mrs Smith hotel vouchers and decided to use them for a night away at the Artists Residence in Regency Square directly facing the i360. Oh yes it's quirky and hectic and we felt about 100 years old what with the youthful staff and clientele but we were very well welcomed and shown to our inland...

Whatever you do, make sure you request a room at the front of the hotel. We have a gorgeous room with a lovely bathroom but it was hot and stuffy, even with the windows open, and the noise from the kitchen/nearby pub was so loud up until about 2am. Other than that there really weren't any other negatives. The staff...
