I wasn't expecting much from this place but it was a pleasant enough stay . The room was remarkably small. Nowhere to move around but it had an en suite bathroom in the wardrobe and they made good use of every space and to include breakfast as well was good and a nice kit Kat welcome :) We couldn't stay...

Yes, Ok, it's seen better days and is a bit shabby in places. HOWEVER the rooms , if small, are spick and span, the breakfasts are excellent AND included in the room price-which is budget. Sophia is lovely and couldn't be more accommodating. This is like staying with a friend. Central location and parking can be bought in advance using...

V nice friendly place would recommend it. Ideally situated near the center of town and near the beach. Would definitely stay again.parking bit difficult but they recommended a local safe car park that only charged 13£ for 24 hours which is very good value.

We have visited Motel Schmotel recently. It was our first stay in Brighton. I have to say that that the place is in a great location, very close to city centre and to a promenade as well. The motel is clean, charming and full of character. Staff very helpful, communication was mainly by texts but we met owners and their...

The rooms are dirty, small and the bed is not good and noise. The house has had better days and needs a lot of maintenance. The breakfast is of bad quality and not a lot to choose from and small portions are handed out, only butter on the hard slice of bread. No cheese or ham available. At arrival 20:00...

We did enjoy our stay here. Perfect location in the middle of Brighton, only a few hundred yards to the main shopping area and the Laines. The breakfast was good, I had the vegan breakfast though and the portion size wasn't as much as I would have liked. There were only a few things I'd note before you stay; 1....

Everywhere was lovely and clean Ensuite was small but just fine: I'm a larger lady and I managed in the shower If we had one complain it would be that the room was so...

I had a five night stay here and it was just perfect. I'd travelled a long way to get there and was delighted to have very warm, cosy and clean room to rest my weary head. My room was small but perfectly formed, just enough for my needs. I had such a lovely breakfast in a really cute breakfast room...

Stayed here for 2 nights, was brilliant ! Breakfast in bed, clean sheet. Located in a very good place, just off the main strip, close to very good bars and shopping ! They looked after our luggage on day of check out while we went shopping. Very friendly and helpful ! Will definitely be returning again ! Thank you !

We spent Halloween Weekend in Brighton and booked into the Schmotel. The check-in was OK with not much interaction with the reception. The room was very small with a small stool as the only place for both of us to sit on. (one cheek each !!). We looked for the bathroom and then we found it - In the wardrobe....
