Stayed here in May - lovely old period property not far from the beach. We stayed in the Lodge which was lovely - quiet, relatively modern. We didn't have dinner but the menu did look impressive. We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast was plentiful with smiley waiters on hand. We would definitely return if we go to...

We had room 7 a sea view room. It's very large like a flat! Staff are helpful and very pleasant. The decor isn't to my taste but is in keeping with this beautiful historic building and although olde worlde it's not tired nor tasteless. Spotlessly clean throughout. Charming is the best word for it. Quant English seaside charm. Faultless and...

I spent one night here whilst walking the coast path. Good central location (5 min walk from the beach) but an oasis of peace and tranquility. Stayed in the Louisa Lodge. Nice, well equipped and clean rooms. Comfortable bed - but a bit too soft for me. Friendly, helpful staff and an excellent breakfast to see me on my way....

This was our second visit to Purbeck House Hotel in Swanage. It's a comfortable hotel ideally located in the centre of Swanage. Accommodation is split between the main house and Louisa Lodge. On both occasions we've stayed in the main house. Rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a mix of help yourself to toast, cereals...

Stayed at Purbeck House for the second time. Had the same room, great. Service throughout was exellent. Breakfast menu good and varied both hot and cold food available. If hot, freshly cooked. No complaints at all. Reccomend this hotel every time. Thank you Purbeck House. Michael Moore.

We enjoyed a three day stay in Louisa Lodge, the modern annex to this rambling Victorian pile as members of a rambling group. The Hotel was clean and obviously well run and the staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfasts were good but the food at supper time was a bit variable and the 'Table d' Hote' gave rather limited options,...
