We booked a long weekend in the Cherry log cabin. It was cosy & warm on arrival with tea, coffee & milk waiting. Staff on site very welcoming. Cabin had everything needed for a peaceful weekend, wood burner with plenty of logs, lovely comfy bed and the hot tub which was great after a day out walking. Would like to...

A good site with excellent caravan hard standing and facilities. Let down by the showers. One out of order, one had lock that didn't work, one had broken door and the shower heads were blocked with limescale. In addition, only 2 broken hooks to hang everything so most had to hang over the door. Anything on the floor gets splashed...

This is the third or fourth time we have visited this site. Don't ever check out early on a Sunday, stay and have the roast dinner, it's fantastic. It is great for groups and cater for all types. We will definitely be back several more times this year.

This lovely campsite is based just minutes away from Swanage town centre and beach. What a lovely place to be over Christmas, we had lots of wintery walks on the beachfront. We stayed in one of Log cabins (Can't remember the name) but it had a great big hot tub on the decking , were us and the kids would...

We stayed with our family in December for a pre Christmas break and were delighted at the really kind and helpful staff on arrival. The Log Cabin was extremely Clean and the fresh bedding smelt lovely! Very cosy! And a 'home from home' feel about it... well worth coming back for another weekend stay in May!

We had a cracking weekend stay at Herston. The staff were super friendly and the shower facilities were clean and hot!. Its not far from Swanage so is well located should you need to pop into town. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to the sea too. We will be coming back in the camper to stay again!

This was booked by a family member for my mums 60th. Log cabin was very spacious and had everything we needed for our few days. We enjoyed the hot tub even for this time of year. I think it would be nice to return with my family during the summer. I brought my 5 month old son for his first...

The staff here was very nice and the hill view we had was lovely. You can walk in to swanage town from here but its bit of a walk but a nice walk. It seams to have lots of people who live there full time on here what wasn't a problem as they are very polite people and children. I...

The website makes this place look really nice. Out of season, the campsite is very dreary. Numerous battered caravans standing in long grass. The toilet/shower block were poorly maintained and VERY cold. On the plus side, this place is ideally situated as a base to explore the isle of purbeck.
