Came for a few days to celebrate our anniversary.A warm welcome from Rob set the tone for our visit. We had the luxury room at the front of the house which had a very comfortable king size bed,the room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We asked for cooked breakfast which you pay an extra £7: 50 each, well worth it,it was...

Attractive and quirky hotel, awesomely decorated. Very affordable and great value! Ensuite bathroom, which I do appreciate. Friendly host. Easy to walk to the city and the beach, a short walk to the train station which was very practical. The only "snag" (if I can even call it that) is that you have to order and pay for English breakfast...

Just finishing a long weekend at the Amarillo. Lovely friendly hosts, far enough from the centre to be quiet, yet close enough to walk. Room was spotless, bed comfortable, and adjustable heating. Continental breakfast is ample, the cooked breakfast was lovely but if I ate it every day would need a new wardrobe. It says everything that my only complaint...

Stopped mid week with a work colleague. Friendly welcome, spotlessly clean and lovely room. Will definitely be back soon. Perfect place for a seaside weekend as well. Great local knowledge and restaurant tips from the owners. Location is perfect, nice and quiet and only a short walk into Bournemouth town or Boscombe. Plenty of free parking either at the front...

My husband and I stayed at the Amarilo for 2 nights. We were greeted in the evening by one of the owners Rob who was lovely with a good sense of humour. He showed us up to our room which was a small double. The room was beautiful with white furniture and shutters over the window. It was spotlessly clean....

Great location overlooking park within walking distance of rail station. Proprietor is very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean. You can walk to the beach football station or town centre quite easily.

We stayed here last year for the Airshow and was astounded by such a high standard of accommodation. So much so that a week after returning home we booked again for this years. We feel like we are part of the family when we stay here. Paul and Rob are excellent hosts and will always do what they can to...

Recently spent four nights at The Amarillo B&B and could not recommend it any more! The rooms were spotlessly clean with beautiful decor, and Rob & Paul could not be any more helpful! Only about a half an hour walk (in heels) to the BIC so very convenient.

The Amarillo is easy to spot as it's by far the prettiest B&B on the street - the front has beautiful plants framing the windows and entrance, which has a little seated area just outside the door for smokers that I thought was a really nice use of a small space, nicely lit and surrounded by attractive shrubs. I also...
