Stayed here for 2 nights for a friends 21st birthday. Lovely interior in the hotel and was immediately welcomed by the staff, they were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Spacious, clean room and the breakfast was good value for money. With the choice of a full English or a light breakfast and unlimited choice of cereal, toast...

We had a lovely stay at the Applewood. The room was clean, warm and spacious, with a very comfortable king size bed. The shower was fantastic too. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, especially Anna the hotel Manager. She gave us lots of useful information about places to visit, which buses to use, etc. Overall, the hotel has a...

This was just a brief one night stop prior to a flight from Bournemouth airport. We were greeted very warmly by the lady on the reception. She gave us all the information we needed, including a map of Bournemouth! The decor is very good up the impressive staircase leading to a large bedroom with a big bay window. The on-suite...

Not the most ideal place to stay if you're travelling on business and need to do work in your hotel room. WIFI is limited, had to resort to sitting downstairs in the entrance at night in order to do some work. The rooms are very nice and clean with cosy beds however so if its for a weekend down here...

The room was minuscule. Was told on arrival our bags would be placed in our room, when we came back late for a wedding they were not. Rooms could be cleaner. Ideal location for bournemouth and free parking a bonus but wouldn't stay here again.

Having researched various guest houses around the area, I noted that Applewood House had consistently very good reviews. I spoke to a lady called Anna who was more than helpful, and I felt she was a great representation for Applewood. The hotel was so clean and very nicely decorated inside. Our Room, No 18 had a bath which we requested...

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting relatives in the area. The hotel was really clean and well decorated it was obvious that a lot of money has been spent on refurbishment. When we booked in I hadn't realised that there wasn't a lift and having just got off a cruise we had some heavy cases with us, however the...

I stayed here for one night with my daughter. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We had the light breakfast in the morning which included cereal, toast, juices, tea/coffee all serve yourself. There was also porridge available and a hot option of eggs or beans on toast. It was very nice and a steal at £4.00 ahead....
