We stayed 2 nights at TravelRest whilst visiting friends. The hotel is pleasant & clean enough although very dated and in need of refurbishment. We had a family room with one double and one single bed. The double bed was the smallest we've ever seen with even smaller covers, and very uncomfortable. We were sleeping with various limbs not in the...

A friend and I had a room there on a Saturday night in order to spend the weekend catching up. Read on the website they had some refurbished rooms and were really surprised when the cost of our room was only £39 for the night, although not including breakfast. But alas, we had an old room, in need of refurbishment,...

We stayed here 2 nights as my daughter went to look at the University there. Room was clean bathroom adequate with fresh towels left both mornings. Shower tray didn't drain very quickly so if you like long showers beware !! Rest of hotel we saw was a little old fashioned but clean nevertheless. Could do with soundproofing as some "inconsiderate"...

I stayed there for one night during a business travel. When leaving the hotel, the ocean is just 500 metres away. Within a 5 minutes walk down the hill I was in the city center. Hence, the location was pretty great - especially for someone like me who does not know Bournemouth very well and had very limited time to...

A friend and I had a night out in Bournemouth planned and although I only live in Poole booking this room actually worked out a lot cheaper than getting taxis and buses home. I wasn't expecting much for £30 but the rooms were clean and tidy with plenty of fresh towels as well as some toiletries in the bathroom. The...

On the good side an excellent position for tourism, exploring, shopping and the theatre etc. Our room and en-suite was very small, but clean and tidy, the bedside lamp did not work and the power point for the kettle was down behind the bed, but for the price paid we did not expect the Ritz. We would not book a...

Fairly cozy hotel, would definitely recommend as a good option for this price range. Beware the hotel has no lifts and is spread out on three floors meaning you may need to haul luggage up the creaky stair cases. In fact, the floors all creak a bit as well revealing the age of the building at the best of times...

Stayed November 2016 during the week, which is cheaper... I know Bournemouth really well, so knew the hotel was is a very good location, mixed in with a lot of other hotels. I wasn't expecting a lot because of the very low price. Parking is very limited and tight, but we arrived early afternoon, with the car park already half...
