The bed was like a torture rack. Every move it squeaked and was very uncomfortable. The shower was useless, you would get more water out of a watering can. Only good thing was the location.Very disappointed, glad we did not book 2 nights.

We only stayed for one night, but on arrival we found the manager rude, I made a mistake on booking I forgot to put my one year old daughter on the booking, I was happy to pay for the extra cost. He said it would be okay but it was the way he spoke to us about it. The rest... More

Thankfully staff are excellent, but management instructions strange, I travel quite frequently and haven't come across some of the directives given to the staff. The price I paid I suppose should have made me realise the down side of this operation, the room I occupied was clean although very old fashioned with an extension lead to facilitate oil heater eventually... Building looks like its falling down, smells of a old grandmas house and looks like one too. Bathroom was falling apart, door would not lock, the loo would not flush. We were disturbed for room service even when putting do not disturb sign up. Had to change rooms first time as first room was just a bed and a tiny... More

The hotel was cheap, £80 for 2 nights with no food . Didn't expect much and we weren't disappointed! It's very shabby inside, but it's ok for the money, the bed was comfy at least. The whole place is very very 70/80s decor, but you know for the money it was ok. Not 4 star and God knows how they... More

First and foremost it has to be remembered that the hotel is an old building, it's past its best and would benefit from an overhaul. Pro's: good location for restaurants, bars and the beaches/ pier. Friendly staff including the girl looking after the breakfasts and those on reception. Con's: the stairs squeak, the landings squeak, the bedroom floors squeak, the... More

Stayed here for 1 night at a cost of £145. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. In desperate need of a full refurbishment. The furniture and fittings are very dated. On a positive note staff were nice and polite.

Stayed one night here and not impressed. Room very dated and bathroom poor. Shower was pointless as was just hose on taps and half way on wall. No curtain or holder so you could not stand under the dribble that came out. Reception staff not friendly either. Would not recommend or stay here again. Much better places available. Owner needs...
