This hotel being part of the Shearings group I expected better, it might be priced as a good offer but! The general decor requires up dating, the room had curtains hanging off the rail, electric plugs in the wrong position totally not accessible unless you want to climb under furniture (ideal if your an elderly person). The waiting staff leave...

Very good standard of accommodation. Pleasant staff. Good food. Great position to sea. We came with Shearings coaches. Good entertainment in evening. Handily placed for town centre. Easy access to local buses.

We recently spent an enjoyable weekend here travelling with a shearings coach, our room was quite large with plenty of space for our luggage and to move around the room with ease. The bathroom was also quite spacious with a double sized shower tray and it looked like the room had been recently refurbished. On the minus side the radiator...

Thank you for your review jmtigercrewe, the radiators in some rooms can be hard to control because of their age, however we are planning at refurbishing them in the summer, as we will need to drain the system.

Our room (206) was clean and a good size, but only the top window would open, the metal door below it was stuffed with paper to to stop the draught blowing through the cracks, the radiator was turned off because of a leak a pot was under it to catch the drips, there is a good sea view, the bed...

This must be about the sixth time we've stayed here for a winter midweek break. We drive, park in the carpark and don't use the car until we leave to drive home on the Friday morning. Over the years we've had rain and snow, but this was the first time we'd had thick fog! We made good use of the...

Stayed here 16th jan for 4 nights. Friendly welcoming reception. Rooms are spacious and clean with the usual tea and coffee facilities in the room. Bar food especially the choice of cake is lovely my husband was spoilt for choice when we had a coffee in the bar in the afternoon. Didnt see the entertainment so cant comment on that....
