My last review of our favourite hotel was a little negative and I am happy to withdraw it after our latest visit during Easter week. Main plaudits must go the staff who were genuinely friendly and happily helpful throughout our stay.Top marks to them. The Restaurant also scored well - a helpful and friendly maître d' and a chef at...

Stayed one night with a friend, visiting Bournemouth International Centre. Once again the staff could not do enough for us. Totally professional, friendly and efficient. The food is excellent and very comfortable rooms. The position of the hotel couldn't be better. We will be back.

Stayed at the Hermitage Hotel over Easter. I had a sea view room which was nice and spacious. In other reviews people have mentioned about the breakfast. I found the breakfasts there to be great. There is a large selection of fresh fruit and cereals. I never have tea, coffee or toast when I am away. I mentioned to the...

The hotel is very central to everything it is in a prime position. We booked a superior room that was adequate.Unfortunately the hotel has a very small lounge with limited comfy chairs. The restaurant was ok but it was a struggle to get the staff to understand what we were ordering although the food was delicious.

4 stars? Rather an average 3 stars and still arguable. From my experience reception staff was nice and very friendly. Facility: Typical old hotel with very thin walls, could hear pretty much everything happening on the floor. TV and electronics rather ancient including room Door keys The most disappointing part was the breakfast. Again friendly staff, but the setup for...

Very good location - short walk away from both town centre and the pier (which means beach!). Was in bournemouth for a conference at Bournemouth international centre which is directly opposite the hotel. The evening entertainment was again a short walk away and from there we could walk into the town centre to enjoy some of the bars and nightlife...

The location is excellent, in the centre of the action of the town, with beautiful gardens nearby and just across the road from the beach. I had a beautiful sea view. Staff were unfailingly courteous and smiley. Delicious fresh sandwiches served at any time of day. Everything was clean and fresh.
