The staff here at Holiday Inn have been over the top in kindness and helpfulness. Sergio, Ricardo, Maria and other staff so helpful to accommodate us, the breakfast is Delicious and different options to choose from! I definitely recommend this hotel.
Check in was painful due to someone new on the desk who didnt know what they were doing which is understandable but when it takes 10 minutes for someone else to come and help it becomes laughable. The room was ok but the issue came in the morning when I went for breakfast 17 minutes before the end of the published time for breakfast to be told that it had been quiet so everything had been put away and I couldnt get breakfast. Shambles. Parking was £12 for the night. Never again
The room is quite nice and it's got the executive floor so that is really nice. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the city centre and the beaches. The breakfast is average and there is a massive queue at breakfast so if you are in a hurry it is probably best to skip the breakfast.
I've stayed in many HI Hotels over the years, and this one is probably the best. The staff are friendly, professional and the cleanliness of the hotel excellent. Location is perfect for a wander into the centre/along the front - and close to the Uni accommodation if you have to drop or visit your wayward sons or daughters..Breakfast excellent and good quality. The relaxed informal lounge is great for a drink after dinner out. Can't comment on the evening meals as we ate out. Parking is secure and plentiful. Overall a great Holiday Inn and congrats to the local management there for running it well. 5*
The staff are the friendliest I've come across. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I would like to especially thank Ricardo and Sergio who were on the night shift and looked after me when I stayed.
Last time we stayed at this hotel it was operated under a different Hotel chain. As before the location is perfect to discover Bournemouth at its best. Just a short walk to the pier, the gardens, the cinema and only a scroll away to the shops, bars and clubs. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast buffet (for an additional charge) and parked our car in the hotel car park (also for an additional charge). There is no guaranteed car park space and from previous experience I’m sure that during high season it might be difficult to find an empty spot. The Hotel staff was very friendly. As a contribution to our environment, the hotel gives extra member points if you don’t need your room cleaned during your stay. Will definitely stay again in this hotel. Thanks for having made our stay a comfortable one.…
I stayed here along with 15 of my golfing friends for our "mini tour" in late September this year The hotel is well situated, with only a short walk into town which of course has plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from What struck me most upon arrival was how clean and fresh the hotel looked. My room was spacious, clean and well maintained. My bed was extremely comfortable which allowed me to have a great night sleep both nights In the morning you have the opportunity to have a hearty breakfast. There's plenty of choice both hot and cold Above all the staff were brilliant from the cleaners to management. Quite simply they were spot on I would not hesitate in recommending Holiday Inn Bournemouth
this was my fault. i wasn’t sure that our flight would arrive on time, much less how far i would want to drive after flying through the night. bournemouth became the unexpected stopping spot. the holiday inn was conveniently located and well-reviewed. my mistake. the room price was okay, until i realized i hadn’t filtered the search for places with a free breakfast and free parking. the parking charge was only 12 pounds, but the lot is terrible unless you have a very small car. the breakfast was more expensive, but it was worth it. the folks in the kitchen do a very nice job preparing a complete english breakfast. the bar, on the other hand, was a small disaster. very limited selection: a couple scotches and i believe no bourbons. rum was better. i don’t recall about others. the room was small. there weren’t any complimentary shampoo or conditioner options available. desk attendants suggested using shower gel for shampoo. no wash cloths of course. there was nothing really terrible. i know the desk folks wanted to be helpful, but i would not stay there again.…
We spent one night en route to London. It's what you'd expect from Holiday Inn - efficient, clean, comfortable, good size rooms, in good location; precise yet a bit surgical service. Parking on site was not cheap, and the parking spot were not easy to access in our opinion. Breakfast was also pricey, but overall good - although with a long queue for hot food (must have been the Sunday morning).
We stayed for 3 days and we would definitely stay again. Great service. Nothing to much trouble. We had a problem with our air-con one evening. Straight away two fans were brought to our room. Next day it was fixed...no trouble at all. Staff were so polite and helpful. A big mention to...Saif,Murad,Maria,Tim,Alfie,Jithin and Abit. Who were wonderful. Thanks to all.. You’re a credit to Holiday Inn! 👍
