moved to this hotel after the original brittania hotel closed for a month. booked in and given room 44 as i opened the door to go into the room I didn't hear my husband say mind the step which was on a sign on the door. Due to the brightness of the corridor and the darkness of the room I...

Went to this hotel as part of a coach trip booked by a friend so didn't choose it myself as I normally would. Having read reviews wasn't expecting it to be up to much. Reception area is well appointed and the staff handling check in were polite friendly and efficient. Travelled with two friends and we all had single rooms...

Lovely warm welcome. Rooms were fairly spacious with bath and shower.lovely and warm. Flat screen TV and plenty of tea and coffee. Meals were hot buffet style and lovely. pleasantly surprised to find it was a turkey and tinsel weekend , so really festive. Entertainment on (Xmas night) which appealed to us as a nice variety of music. Went Xmas...

It started when my company had booked me into the brittania Bournemouth hotel which seemed reasonable however for some reason they sent me to the heathlands hotel. Pulling up outside it looked ok n reception looked nice. That's where the good points stop. The £3 a day parking charge is ridiculous considering we are paying to stay there. But I...

Stayed for a 3 night music weekend and was pleasantly surprised, having read other reviews. Received a warm welcome on arrival, and throughout the weekend the service & friendliness, of the manager and staff, was excellent and always delivered with a smile. A special mention for Laura, a delightful Spanish girl on the bar staff and her colleague for their...

A warm smile, that's what I get to see from the front desk when I walked in. Location is great, very near the beach and near food places. Room is clean but make sure to get room in the corner/end of hallway cause it's always the quiet ones. Good value for money.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! I don't ask for a lot in a room but there was no heating at all and I had to go to my car to warm up! The staff were lovely but I had to call down to reception (using my mobile as there was no phone) and ask to put...

Arrived to a warm welcome, room was minute but clean & had done their best to fit everything into such a small space. Food was very good & dining room staff very hardworking & cheerful, plentiful free tea & coffee, tables decorated with festive cheer. 99p bar until 9pm each evening, well attended but rather long queues! Wifi was only...

Loved the area, hotel is dated and full of lots of foreign visitors, made you feel a little intimidated sometimes. Hotel needs a bit of TLC. Not eaten here as restaurant always seemed hot. We had a nice room, but some rooms were quite small.
