We stayed here with a group of around 30 couples as members of a Ballroom & Latin Dancing School - Starlight Dancing. The room was very comfortable, and the staff were very attentive. The facilities booked for our dancing weekend were excellent, perfect for our requirements, which meant we could enjoy ourselves without any concerns. The restaurant was well stocked for breakfasts, lunches were available at the bar if required and our evening meals were all delicious. This hotel is clearly geared up to deal with fairly large groups at once. Top marks!
We went on the 30th October for an afternoon T-Dance, then Dinner and dance in the evening and a stay over with breakfast. Was a brilliant time, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the service excellent. Going again in December. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Spotless hotel excellent food choice Central location near to beach and shops Lively bar reception area staff friendly Would go again we had room 329 which is a twin balcony sea view spectacular Really good size bath and a fridge in the room Ironing board and iron hairdryer A sofa and two armchairs plus double wardrobe Extra pillows in cupboard
We booked 4 rooms for a family weekend get together. The staff were friendly & helpful and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere. Rooms were clean and a good size and the food (we ate in the hotel one evening) was also very good. Any downsides? - well, the automated email system failed us a couple of times (perhaps it couldn't cope with multiple room bookings) but a quick phone call to Reservations resolved matters on both occasions. Car parking is a bit of a lottery and quite tight but all 4 in our group got spaces eventually so free parking at the hotel was another plus.
Came here with my family for the night. The hotel is lovely with a bright bar area and the rooms were lovely and fresh feeling. The bed was very comfy. My only disappointment was the food, we had dinner bed and breakfast. We were told dinner was served between 6 & 8 so went in at 7:20 the room was almost empty bar one table and the staff didn’t seem impressed that we came in at that time! I appreciate they cater for the older generation and they like to eat early for their dancing or card games but not everyone staying is here for that. We were then asked to order all 3 courses straight away, there was no rest between courses. It all came up like a conveyer belt. I had roast turkey which was very tasty but instead of roast potatoes like you’d expect it came with wedges which was a disappointment. Breakfast was tasty and the sausages were very meaty I was surprised in a good way. The restaurant sadly reminded me of a canteen. I was also disappointed that there was a 5% surcharge on every purchase at the bar. I would prefer you to add a little to your bar prices than add a surcharge. Overall the staff were friendly and the hotel itself very nice. For the older generation this works well for them. My dad is 78 and even he was like this isn’t what I expected. We would stay here again but would go out for dinner somewhere else as the rushing and lack of detail was not what you’d expect from a nice hotel.…
Great hotel, with polite and friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again. The room - a standard double was a really good size, with a bath and seats allowing for a coffee area. The room was lovely and clean. Breakfast again was buffet and lots of it. I booked directly and got breakfast and parking included.
Stayed 4 nights with coach party. Upgraded to a sea view with balcony room. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and with a great view. Staff polite and helpful and food very good with an excellent buffet breakfast. Location ideal, close to all amenities and a few minutes walk to beach and pier. Will definitely stay here in future.
We had a beautiful room with an amazing sea view, really comfortable King Sized bed and the best balcony I have ever had the pleasure to sit on. The staff were very kind and helpful at all times. The breakfast was very good, all self service,
May I say what a wonderful weekend we spent at the Marsham Court Hotel. The food is excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the management and staff. Comfortable rooms, clean and great bedding! We look forward to coming again.
Stayed at the hotel earlier this month as part of a tour of 35 people. The hotel staff were friendly and catered for all our needs. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel is in a perfect geographical situation to explore Bournemouth. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. I would certainly stay there again. They are undergoing a refit so it can only get better.
