Booked last minute for a Sunday night stay room only just £24!!! Amazing value that included free on-site parking. Room was fine, clean and warm with good wif-fi and the bathroom had a very powerful shower.

Hotel has been decorated and modernised over recent times and is very homely and comfortable. The Sunday lunch is very popular - no wonder: very good value. Three generous courses, including tea/coffee and a fresh bread roll for less than £20 per head. Food was nice, and freshly prepared. Plenty of staff who are very friendly and attentive. Clean tablecloths...

We had bought a Groupon voucher for a night's stay at The Mayfair - we paid a supplement to stay on a Saturday night. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted warmly by the receptionist. Our room wasn't ready as we had arrived at 10am in the morning as we wanted to make the most of our time...

Last minute choice for a weekend away with friends. Not stayed at the Mayfair before. Greeted well and offered assistance with our luggage. Rooms were perfectly adequate, clean and warm. Excellent 3 course meal on Friday night with a varied menu to suit all. Breakfast was laid out as a buffet table with cereal and fruit, and breakfast was cooked...

I am from bournemouth and stayed in many hotels there and this one is the worst. Booked it last night on late rooms for £37.00 i knew it wouldn't be the best but it was just awful, we ended up getting a full refund. There was pubic hairs in the bed, dust on wardrobes and old furniture that is fit...

For only £15.00 you get a choice of four starters, four main courses (with veg), five desserts and coffee. Good value, good food, good portions, good staff, what more can I say? Perhaps that parking can be a bit tight.
