Every aspect of the Green House is excellent, from the very professional, friendly staff, well-appointed bedrooms, and delicious, well presented food. Ideally, situated, it is a short walk from the pier, beach and park. A very comfortable 2 night stay and somewhere we will visit again. A big thank you to all the staff for making it a memorable break.
What a delightful Hotel this is. Exceeded all my expectations and makes me want to come back to Bournemouth. We booked an accessible room, very well laid out with a large wet room and easy-to-use the shower. Staff couldn’t of been more helpful throughout our stay. An excellent restaurant with great food and unobtrusive service. Despite a wealth of other eateries in Bournemouth, we ate there both nights and enjoyed breakfasts good enough to skip lunch. Would thoroughly recommend.
We have eaten on a number of occasions at the Arbor restaurant part of the Green House and always been very impressed with the standard of the food and the service. So when the opportunity to experience a different Christmas this year came up. We immediately looked at the possibility of staying here. It was our wedding anniversary on the 24, so the 2 night package was perfect. We enjoyed an excellent a la carte menu on the 24. Christmas Day breakfast was a continental and cooked to order. The main event a 7 course Christmas lunch was superb. The dinning room had a great atmosphere, the chairs and tables decorated festively. Service was attentive and discreet. An evening buffet was also set out, but we were still full from the lunch! On Boxing morning we enjoyed another lovely breakfast. The whole experience was wonderful. We left relaxed and content. Do not go to the Green House at Christmas if your looking entertainment, noise and mass produced food. Go to enjoy good quality food and a relaxed atmosphere, where the staff work hard to ensure you receive high quality service. …
Top boutique hotel and Great room. Stayed as a couple on Sat night and the experience was as good as we had hoped from the reviews . It’s a boutique hotel and just daily central to town centre ,15 min walk or £5 taxi . The staff when we arrived were very polite and welcoming , and when we got the room it was really lovely , we booked the master double ( large bed , small double sofa , LARGE free standing Bath in room !) and we were pleased we did !. The bar area was nice too and served nicely prepared drinks , we had cocktails . The whole hotel was really well run , well staffed and very clean . It’s definitely a hotel we would use again as a couple .
Just back from a lovely weekend at the Green house hotel, the hotel was really clean and well maintained. Marvellous breakfast and evening food was amazing too. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful, especially Gianluca who went out his way to make sure our stay was fabulous. I will definitely stay again at the Green House Hotel in Bournemouth!
Excellent hotel, lovely rooms and the staff were amazing. Particularly grateful to Gianluca who was really flexible and helped me out with my booking as I'd made a mistake. The Arbour restaurant was wonderful too, with a varied menu and provided an exceptional dining experience. Really loved the fact that the menu championed all their suppliers and gave you links to their suppliers websites. Well done!
We can’t rate this hotel high enough. The staff were first class with their customer service skills. We were treated as valued customers and greeted with smiles & genuine friendliness. The hotel is tastefully decorated, extremely clean with a welcoming atmosphere. We loved the dining area decor ❤️ The bedroom was very comfortable with tea/coffee facilities, tv, comfy bed and great shower & bathroom. Thoroughly recommend the Green House hotel if you’re visiting Bournemouth. It’s very close to the lovely Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre where we saw a show.
Can I advise anyone thinking of staying at this hotel to ring them first. This hotel is a popular venue for weddings, birthdays etc which take priority over people staying. The noise level from the basement area does affect the comfort of the rooms depending where you are. The staff were helpful and moved us to another room which was not as good as the bed was far too soft. We came home early.Parking was also an issue due to these events.
Stayed for 4 nights to attend a conference. The room was lovely, visibly clean and very quiet. Although travelled for work the hotel had a very tranquil feel about it and it was very relaxing. All of the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. There was completely water (still and sparkling) and cookies. In the room. There were tea and coffee making facilities in room with fresh milk supplied in a flask. A rage of Dorset tea’s was available from reception these were lovely. Breakfast was amazing and I had a different cooked breakfast every day, didn’t have anything from the buffet as I was full on the cooked breakfast and toast. The parking was included and it was a 15 minute walk via the sea to the pier. 10 minutes in the other direction is Old Christchurch Road we’re there are a variety of restaurants and pubs. A taxi to the Pavilions is around £7. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.…
Location is nice, staff were friendly food was excellent the main issues were comfort, the bar sofas were unsupportive and uncomfortable due to wear, the dinning chairs base was so thin the wood can be felt. In our room an expensive upgrade, the sofa bed to sit on was awful and misshapen so nothing to sit and relax on in this room, our worst experience was the bed which was incredibly soft, not normally a massive issue but this mattress is clearly worn out with us both spending an uncomfortable night squished together in the middle of the king size. We didn’t have a good nights sleep and both were uncomfortable in the morning as a result. Overall I liked the hotel but feel it’s let down by some basic attention to comfort, perhaps our room was just in need of a refurb as I could t even operate the tv as the remote was so worn, not a great indication of how many previous residents had been in the room. We all would rather not be reminded of the hundreds of people who have slept in the hotel room we are using, especially for this high room B&B rate. I did mention our discomfort on leaving the hotel to reception but did not feel that the matter would be escalated to Management but imagine the room is still being sold with such uncomfortable furniture. I hindsight we should have asked to move when we arrived having checked the bed, but who does that in a decent hotel.…
